This place is So over priced for thrift clothes. I saw used items that cost almost exactly the same price as the item cost new maybe minus $5.00. Worse I went to sell a few items of clothes there and they took my new rock boots and offered me $13, they offered me 4 bucks for my lip service bondage pants,Then with the stuff they claimed they didnt want, they told me that we can donate the clothes and dump it into a bin they had and those clothes will be given to homeless people in need. so I agreed and all of this would be fine after all I could have said no to the price they offered me, but I took the price under the lie they were giving me 30percent in trade and that what I got nothing for was going to be given away to the homeless. Yet I went back 2 days later to use my $20 in trade and low ans behold there were my new rocks priced at $120 my lip service pants were priced at $30. But the worst part though was seeing the sweaters and dresses that I put in their donation bin on their racks for sale!!!! I know they were mine becaise I always write my initials on the tags so it was undeniable. They straight up robbed and lied to me . They were making 100% profit off my donated items I only donated because they said they were going to give to the homeless. I would havw never donated my clothes so a private for profit company can make free money. If they thought the clothes were worth charging customers for then they damn well know they should have given me 30% of what they marked it as. My new rocks being sold for 120 when only giving me $13 - 13 is Not 30% of 120 its barely over 10%. So be careful when selling to this shady company. They will rob you more likely then anyone in the park...
Read moreTERRIBLE employees! I brought in a nice like-new pair of Tom Ford mens loafers. I waited for them to call me up to look at what I brought in, (in the longest line for about 1 hour, due to only 1 employee working at the register, while other employees are literally just running around the store, doing nothing.) So finally after looking at my Tom Ford shoes, the employee tells me that she's going to have to take my shoes to the back and get a second opinion from the manager. After waiting for about 15 minutes, she comes back and tells me that she couldn't "authenticate" the shoes and that she's going to have to pass on them. I was in total shock and never expected her to say something so rude and offensive so I asked her to speak to the manager because I know the shoes are 100% authentic. She tells me that she IS the manager, but a lil bit ago she told me she needs to go get a second opinion from the manager on the shoes LOL. Overall a bad place and the WORST employees. If you have any nice, used luxury clothing you wanna sell, I recommend going down 1 or 2 blocks to the store "Wasteland". I went there afterwards and they instantly bought the loafers for 200$. Plus it's way nicer and the employees are a lot smarter, and they actually know what they're doing, unlike the buffalo exchange employees "couldn't...
Read moreI have been a fan of Buffalo Exchange for a decade now. Originally from Phoenix so of course I seek them out wherever I might be residing. I was most disappointed in this location when attempting to donate unpurchased items. I had called to inquire if they partner with local organizations to donate unpurchased items during selling which they confirmed. So I headed over to the location. Of course during covid there are restrictions in place which I understood. I ensure all items were laundered and left to sit for 24hrs. Upon arrival to the store there was no at the register or in the store for a solid five or so minutes. Then I realized the gentleman that I thought was shopping was actually the store associate. I inquired of where I might be able to drop off items for donation. He didnât respond. I asked again and he reluctantly took my bag and returned it empty with not even a thank you or can we assist with anything further. Was the most strange interaction Iâve ever had at any Buffalo Exchange Location. Was hoping to do a good deed in times of extremes and was left with a saddened impression of feeling like I put the store out rather than help the community. Hope this can be addressed to ensure patrons offering to help during COVID are well received and not turned away for lack of...
