I was recommended this place and that it was a must-try. I love sushi and burritos, but I may have only had a sushi burrito once in my life until now. We found a coupon online that we thought we would use. So, we put our order in, but realized when we got there that the order had gone to the wrong store. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help make sure we were able to cancel that order and get us the order at the location we were at. They also happened to have a different but similar coupon that we were able to use. The staff really took care of us and our order. When we got our food, I was impressed with how much there was. I was concerned that I would still be hungry, but that was definitely not the case. When you pick up the one half of the burrito, you can easily see that this is real, fresh ingredients. Taking a bite just confirms it. Instead of biting into a sauced-up burrito to mask the taste of sub-par ingredients, you get a rich flavor of fresh ingredients and a perfect accent of flavoring from the sauce. I highly recommend going here even if you haven't had a sushi burrito. It's really was a pleasant surprise...

Great place to go for sushi burritos and snacks! My favorite items are the:

Sumo Crunch burrito (with shrimp tempura and surimi crab, cucumbers, red tempura flakes, spicy aioli, avocado spread, and sushi rice wrapped in nori). $15.

-Lava Nachos (tuna picante, corn tortilla chips, melted pepper jack cheese, avocado spread, nori strips, and spicy aioli). $10.

Both are crunchy, spicy, and umami-rich in flavor! I find the burrito to be filling, so I eat half there and take the rest home to enjoy later (so, it's like getting 2 meals for the price of one!). The Lava Nachos are best eaten right away, while the cheese is still melted on the chips, which is a nice contrast to the cool tuna picante and avocado spread on top.

This place is very popular, and the lines tend to be long at lunchtime, so I recommend ordering in advance for pick-up. Service is quick and efficient. There is limited seating inside and outside.

I highly recommend Sushiritto for their innovative and delicious food. You won't be...

This place is… not great. I ordered Geisha’s kiss, and it just did not taste good at all. The ingredients alone are good, but I the sweetness of the eggs mixed with the pickles was just odd. Almost no sauce or flavorings so outside of the shredded tamago and pickles, it was completely bland

Initially, I didn’t realize it had sweet peppers on it, and within a few seconds after ordering asked the cashier if I could get it without it. He said sure… chilled up front for a few minutes. The manager came out and the cashier told him about my no peppers request, and the manager started scolding me about how next time I need to mention things like that up front. I’m assuming he was irritated because it was made already, but he was taking it out on the wrong guy

So yeah, not great food, not great service....

🫢 I tried every eatery at Local Kitchens Lafayette, and here’s what I got: 1️⃣ MY FAVE: Khao Soi from Tam Sang (this just opened and is founded my Michelin-starred chef Andy Ricker) 2️⃣ Sumo Crunch from Sushirrito (I can never get enough of their sushi burritos) 3️⃣ Mush-o-Roni from Square Pie Guys (my new favorite pie flavor from them!). Square Pie introduced me to Detroit-style and now I can’t go back to regular slices! 4️⃣ Chicken Tinga Bowl from Nopalito (fantastic combination of ingredients and love how much chicken was in this) 5️⃣ Chicken Skewer Plate from Oren’s Hummus (super creamy hummus) 6️⃣ Flipped Chicken Sandwich from Proposition Chicken (it has a nice kick!) 7️⃣ BBQ Bacon Meltburger from The Melt (the Memphis style BBQ sauce really makes this) 📍Local Kitchens has locations in Greater Sacramento and 8 locations in the Bay Area: Campbell, Cupertino, Lafayette, Los Gatos, Mill Valley, Mountain View, Novato, and Palo Alto. 😋 Each location features some of the favorite restaurants from across the Bay Area and Greater Sacramento. #bayareafoodie #bestfoodbayarea #bayareaeats
