This place was amazing! The service was 5 stars, the staff were funny and accommodating, let us use our Yelp check-in a few times even though we had 4 people. Good: - The yelp check-in got us a free samosa and tea - these were already pretty great for being free! - The momos were super tasty - I liked how they had a ton of flavor packed into pretty small dumplings - The garlic naan was really good, felt not too oily - Palak Paneer was my favorite - seemed to have small portions but I actually divided this into two meals, the paneer cubes were well seasoned and chewy Bad: - It took some time for all of the food to arrive, and I ate a lot of the other stuff before we got our entree so I took the rest home! - The place is super casual, nothing fancy but it's clean! Overall I was a huge fan of this place, it felt like a hidden gem and I would definitely recommend for someone looking for some quality food for a great price.

This place deserves 5 star and I have good reasons for it. It is a Nepalese place but you will find the menu pretty similar to Indian. So what's the difference - it is how Nepalese food is made. I tried the Spinach chicken and I can totally feel authentic Nepalese taste. More turmeric, slightly higher salt, super soft chicken likely cooked in cooker with more liquidy gravy topped with generous amount of cilantro. All very typical of Nepalese style of cooking. Even the Mango Lassi was pretty solid - felt fresh and not going sour whatsoever. If there was anything which was a little underwhelming - it was the Aloo Paratha. It was good but it was made like Bihari/Nepali style. If you are expecting Punjabi style paratha - you will be disappointed. Ambience is ordinary but given the place is located in SF downtown, I won't complain.

We got quite a bit of food for two people. The masala tea was complimentary - very milky, almost a buttery consistency, but well infused with the flavours of the herbs. We didn't realise both the aloo cauli and goat curry came with rice, so we could have skipped the garlic naan, but everything tasted delicious. We also got some tasty chicken momo appetisers. They've just opened up about a month and a half ago, in a very convenient location near Montgomery Bart/muni, and are open till later too. The service was also great, and my friend and I really enjoyed our time there. Would wanna go back, especially to check the lunch specials.

We chose this place for dinner based on the Google rating (4.7) and because it was the closest option.

Like many restaurants in America, the interior looks like a three-star renovation at best, but that’s not critical for us.

We placed our order: • my wife chose rice with medium spice, • I ordered Asian noodles, also medium spice.

The food came out fairly quickly. However, my “Asian” dish was served with regular pasta (like Barilla), which you usually find in Italian dishes. The chicken was a bit burnt, which unfortunately is something I’ve gotten used to in many places. My wife received what she ordered, but it was so spicy that she couldn’t eat it. We both ordered medium spice, but her rice was much hotter than my noodles. I tried it myself — it really was impossible to eat.

The staff replaced her dish, but brought out a completely different rice, which turned out to be very bland and made with frozen vegetables. We also couldn’t finish our drinks because small gnats started landing in the glasses.

The only positive I want to mention is the staff — two very polite men who genuinely tried to help. That level of service is rare and appreciated.

Unfortunately, for a $56 dinner we left disappointed. Maybe we were just unlucky, but the 4.7 rating definitely feels overrated and does not reflect the real level of...

I recently visited with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arriving, I was seated promptly, but that’s where the efficiency ended. I waited a full 15 minutes just for someone to acknowledge me and take my order. This delay was quite frustrating, especially since the restaurant wasn’t even particularly busy at the time.

After finally placing my order, I hoped the service would improve, but it only got worse. I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for my food to arrive. This 45-minute wait for a simple meal was unacceptable, particularly since there was no communication or apology from the staff regarding the delay.

When the food finally did arrive, it was lukewarm at best, which made me wonder if it had been sitting out before being served. The long wait time coupled with the lack of attentiveness from the staff significantly marred the dining experience.

While the the food was decent, the poor service overshadowed any positive aspects. If you’re in a hurry or value good customer service, I would recommend considering other dining options in the area.

Overall, my visit to was disappointing, and I’m hesitant to return anytime soon. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to...

We were greeted by the host who was very friendly and said that we would not be disappointed. We were quickly seated and given our drinks promptly. We were offered some tea that was perfect for the cold day and warmed up my stomach for the food to come. I ordered the chicken Tikka Masala mild heat, my husband ordered chicken Tandoori spicy, we ordered vegetable momo, samosa and garlic Naan. Yes we were hungry. We loved the momo and the tomato chutney! The samosas were crispy filled with delicious peas and potatoes. Our food arrived shortly after and it was amazing. The creamy sauces were divine, every spice used hugged my tastebuds.. my husband loved his Tandoori chicken, it came out on cast iron with delicious grilled veggies. Best garlic Naan we have ever had. Everything was fresh and presented beautifully. The chef cooks with love and skill. What more can you ask for. They have many items to order, how lucky we are to try such...
