We had high expectations of this place. The atmosphere was really good and a full house on Friday night. Service was pretty good too.
The food however was very underwhelming. Started with the wings appetizer. Breaded and some frank's poured over it, subpar. My girlfriend go the fish and chips. The fish was flavorless and greasy. I got the beef sliders which were completely flavorless. I don't think they even seasoned the meat. I had to add mayo and catchup to to add some flavor. We finished with the bread pudding. Flavor was ok, but it was very dry.
And then there was the 2.9% additional which I think is some sort of "living" tax?? It's not like the prices are low so this is just the owner stuffing...
Read moreThis is exactly what I imagine when I think of a good local bar. It's not too crazy earlier in the evening so if you're looking for a quiet spot at 8 or 9 this is the place for you. It definitely picks up and by midnight the live music, friendly crowds, and haphazard pool games make it a really fun place to be.
The drinks are well made, though I wouldn't recommend getting any old fashion's as I hear they're not the best. My vodka based mixed drinks were pretty good though!

As someone who watched the place take shape we didn't know what to think. Quite a few years later, we get to see what Steve and his crew had in mind: A community. I love the fact that I'm virtually guaranteed to find someone I know, find a good drink, or a good plate of food.
