IDK Eatz Catering & Chef Services - Indian Fusion Cuisine — Restaurant in San Jose

This is a very inefficient and bad catering company that does not know how to handle clients. I did not enjoy working on a quote with them, and I will not recommend that you hire them. I have talked to many catering companies in the past, and I clearly I saw the difference with these guys.

Jai & Nicolana sent me a quote initially for a chosen menu. Although their business on Google maps says they are open 24 hours, they are actually almost never open for further discussion. After the initial quote they remained very unresponsive to my call/text/email. Then there seemed to be an abrupt breakdown in communication, despite me being very courteous with them. I also found Jai to be angry/frustrated on the phone when answering basic questions, and came across as someone who does not know the meaning of courtesy. He also did not know how to delegate questions to his other staff, if he is busy. All in all a horrible experience working with them. I will never hire them again, and I will not recommend that...

We hired Nicolana and Chef Jai for our December 2022 wedding, and they were FANTASTIC!! They provided us with an amazing tasting a few months in advance, and were able to reduce the spice level to our perfect match. Chef Jai even provided a few extra gulab jamun for my kids during the tasting, which was so kind of him!! They were super communicative throughout and showed up to the venue on time. The food was delicious and stayed warm throughout the event, and everything was exactly how I wanted it! They even braved the Level 2 storm that occurred on my wedding day! Chef Jai catered our micro wedding in Morgan Hill for 8 people, and it was an OUTSTANDING experience. Everything from the way they set the table, to the food, to most importantly the hospitality we felt from them, was amazing.
