Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in San Jose

Now we all know Popeyes Chicken is delicious as hell. Everything is always fresh and hot and ready to go. The only downsize is different Cooks May season it a little less or a little more. Some days is a Gamble. And sometimes the drive-thru worker may give you very little condiments or you may get a person who gives you a little more. It all depends on who is working. But overall the food is very delicious fresh and hot and ready to go. I also noticed that it depends on where a location is at. Will depend on if the chicken season will be seasoned good or bland. For some reason I noticed when a Popeye's location is in a heavily Caucasian populated area. The management may have been complained to about it being too much seasoning. So those locations when you purchase from it will have a more bland tasting chicken sandwich or fried chicken. It's just my experience. But I also noticed when it's in in heavenly populated African-American Latino area or Asian area. It will be more seasoned and more spicy. And check it out for yourself and tell me...

As far as fast-food goes, this place is my go to when I'm in the mood for some fried chicken. I come here often and the food is better than your average KFC. However, the place is fairly small, not alot of seats and when the lunch rush hits, it's better to just eat in your car. I have some concerns about cleaniness, but I've been to worse and it holds up ok. The area that it's located is sketchy though, so coming here at night is a bit scary. Alot of homeless people wandering around in the plaza. Definately jotbthr most upscale part of town. But I live not too far and never had any real issues. I finally got to try the famed chicken sandwich, and I thought it was good, but not wait in line for an hour good. It was real chicken and it was above average quality. Food is usually stale unless it's a special item, requsted off the menu but not sitting in a basket for over an hour..the staff is constantly joking with each other but annoyed woth guests and rude to customers. Not clean, not friendly, but it's a fast food chain, what did you expect..? There are good Popeyes but this one is not one of them. Check your order before you leave. They will give you a cheaper item to replace what they don't have or what they don't want to make and not tell you. That's really frustrating but you learn after they make same "repeated mistakes". Don't order special items without double checking and if they argue/lie to you, just understand that they don't care about your food or...
