In today's society, the concept of supporting local businesses and farmers has become increasingly important. As consumers become more conscious of where their products come from and the impact of their purchases, businesses that prioritize local sourcing and community support are gaining popularity. One such business that exemplifies this commitment to local support is 787 Coffee, a local coffee shop that not only sources its coffee beans from local farmers but also gives back to the community by donating 10% of its profits.

787 Coffee is a shining example of a business that understands the importance of supporting local farmers. By sourcing their coffee beans locally, they not only ensure the freshness and quality of their products but also contribute to the sustainability of the local economy. By working directly with local farmers, 787 Coffee is able to establish strong relationships and support the livelihoods of those who work tirelessly to produce the coffee beans that we enjoy.

Furthermore, 787 Coffee goes above and beyond by giving back to the community through their charitable donations. By donating 10% of their profits, they are able to support local initiatives and organizations that are making a positive impact in the community. This commitment to giving back demonstrates 787 Coffee's dedication to not only supporting local farmers but also to supporting the community as a whole.

In a world where big corporations often dominate the market, businesses like 787 Coffee are a breath of fresh air. By prioritizing local sourcing and community support, they are able to create a unique and authentic experience for their customers. When you walk into 787 Coffee, you are not just buying a cup of coffee – you are supporting local farmers, contributing to the local economy, and giving back to the community.

In conclusion, 787 Coffee is a prime example of a local business that is making a difference in their community. This review is going to be a painful one, because I really wanted to like it more than I did. We saw all of the amazing reviews and walked a mile to try it out. The service was great, there were samples of the whisky and rum beans so that you could smell it, and the ambiance was cozy and unique. Everything was great up until the coffee. My husband got the rum cold brew and I got the coquito latte. I took a sip and noticed the lack of flavor for the price. As you can see in the picture the bags weren’t filled up all the way and it was filled with a plentiful amount of ice. They charge you the base price of the drink plus an extra $3 for using one of the flavored coffee beans. So my drink alone was $10 before tax. I felt pretty deceived after it just tasted like normal coffee, with milk, and some cinnamon and coconut flakes at the bottom of the bag. My husband did thoroughly enjoy his coffee it bursted with the rum flavor from the coffee beans, however, when he tasted mine he made a face and said, “Well mines good.” The best part of the whole experience was honestly the rum cake we ordered, it saved the day! So so so good and the cake was light and fluffy and the icing wasn’t to sweet and not too heavy. The cake hit all the right spots and had me bouncing in my seat. I would come back but not...

Don't be a basic B and order a plain caramel or vanilla latte. When you hit 787, head straight to their Signature WOW menu. I went with the Coquito latte—because what better way to taste Puerto Rican culture

It’s easy: pick your WOW drink, then choose your beans—Supremo (citrus/butter/dark chocolate) or Rum (chocolate/cinnamon/nutmeg), or Whiskey (vanilla/dark chocolate)—note the whiskey bean costs extra. Ask the staff and pick their brains on which beans pair best with each drink. If you are concerned do not worry these drinks will not intoxicate you, so don't use this as a prewarm up for la placita.

I will say the prices are a little steep so keep that in mind. Drinks are served in this plastic looking containers, kind of old fashioned how street vendors used to pour them in bags with straws, but this has a little upscale kick to it.

Afterwards, do not skip I REPEAT DO NOT SKIP the pastry section. Banana walnut bread, quesitos, empanadas—just grab one of each and thank me later.

For the employees that work in this location, thank you for treating us like welcomed guests and giving us recommendations and a...
