Former Chef at Caribe Hilton and his wife have opened this hip spot with a large beautifully-designed Tropical Patio with local plants and modern artwork. Portions are generous, I ordered to-go a container of rice and beans to bring on my flight…not a problem for the Chef when I asked to include fresh red onions and cilantro…portions are generous here and the crowd is cool. This is a new little known spot, it’s totally charming and feels like a tropical hideaway. Beauty everywhere! Go! And tell your friends about this spot near Puerto de Tierra (near Viejo San Juan). Found this hidden gem on our second to last day and we had to go back on our last day to eat there. It was a short walk from the place we were staying. It was easy to walk to and find. The food is AMAZING ! The pernicious sandwich is REALLY GOOD and the cocoquito latte OMGGG ! SO SO GOOD. 100% recommend this place if you are in the area.

Only place open at 6am such a lifesaver for an early flight! Vegetarian option includes eggs and oatmeal. They also have toast. Serves chai, matcha, and lattes with several flavor options. Espresso was randomly an Americano FYI. Got some empandas take away. Counter service with metal chairs outside. Can’t...
