Espacio 18 — Restaurant in San Juan

This place is a gem! A diamond in the ruff. This seems to be a local place, and man I’m so glad I came here. The waitress was very nice, but couldn’t translate the menu very well, and got the porter, who could speak great English. (Restaurant located within the garage, you will pass by where the chefs at first, then get seated toward the back).

1. extremely accommodating chefs, and 10/10 stars for care and attention for a kid’s dietary restriction. So customer service, they are a 10.

2. They recommended rice and a cauliflower kind of steak, which we went with, and I was taken aback by how fresh, and tasty such s simple dish could be. I will never look at cauliflower the same again! 10 for the chef willing to be creative, and still make a dish I would order for myself, that I just couldn’t understand how something so simple could taste that good. (Son ate the whole plate, and it had a big portion).

3. my wife had the veggie burger with salad, and I had the fried chicken burger with fries. Absolutely delicious, fresh ingredients were very evident, from the salad to the burgers. Top notch 10/10

4. I would place this at the number 1 spot of local eateries in San Juan, beats many of the fancy places, and supposedly good hole in the walls. The staff, chef obviously care about their customers, and it shows in service, and in their food. We will be back...
