Hello fello vacationers,| First let me start by saying DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! I travel to Puerto Rico quit frequently. This is not a franchise hotel. So, their are not corporate standards to fellow. I'm not at all saying franchise hotel are the only hotels to stay at. When I booked this hotel it was being compared to Holiday Inn Condado. I have stayed in that Holiday Inn numerous times with no problems. I chose the Casa Condado because it had parking on site. I understood their was an additional charge. I like the idea of the car being steps away.| Also, their website said they had wifi. I needed wifi because of my daughter's college courses were time specific. When checked in I asked for our wifi password the clerk was happy to give to me. We went to our room got settled in and tried to login. We couldn't get the wifi to work I even tried in common areas and the lobby still no signal. I then informed the front desk person. He then informed me that the wifi down and had been down for awhile. They were waiting on the internet company to do repairs. He had no idea when it would be fixed. No internet big problem because my daughter had time specific classes and work to do.| When we arrived and checking in 11:30pm very tired and thirsty I asked if I could get some water. The front desk clerk scurried off and came back with 1 bottle of water I asked if I could buy a second bottle for my daughter he told me no. Their was no cup or ice bucket in our room. | The hotel room was extremely small and tiny tv under 20inch was broken. It was a full size bed again extremely small room didn't even have a closet or dresser. In the morning I went to take a shower there was no hot water. I checked with the front desk because I understand in Puerto Rico sometimes their hot water isn't that hot. They have different types of hot water heaters. She informed me that they had regular hot water heaters. She would have someone fix it later that day so basically no hot shower today. I told front desk clerk that the tv was broken too.| On our way out for the day I asked the front desk agent about parking. The front desk clerk informed me about the additional cost. I was totally fine with the extra cost. The front desk agent informed me that the parking was around back through the alley behind the building. I told her I would be coming back with a car. When we arrived back the hotel at 6:30pm I drove in to rear parking area behind the building. My daughter got out of the car and hurried to the hotel room to use the bathroom. I parked the car in the only spot available. I was getting my purse and shopping bags to get out of the car. A woman knocked on my car window. I was a bit shocked and startled. Information me that I couldn't park there it was for guest only. I told her I was a guest. She then asked me my last name I of course told her she the to me I was not a guest and didn't have a reservation. I informed her I had a room. By the way, she never informed me she was night front desk agent. She was now yelling at me telling me to move my car. I was almost in tears. She kept saying I wasn't a guest. She said I was in someone else's spot. She said I had to move my car immediately. I called my daughter and told her to come down to front of the hotel. We drove around and around looking for a parking lot for 30mins. | At this point I gave up and called for the third time in not even 24hrs hotwire which I have booked through they offered me a complete refund minus the night before stay. After driving around and calling hotwire. We parked at restaurant very close to the hotel. When we walked in the door of the hotel the same front desk agent who yelled at me earlier demanded my name again we hurried up to our room packed our stuff and was out the door in 10min. I handed the front desk agent the key and out the the door. My daughter and I checked in at 11:30 the night before and checked out at 7:00pm the next day just a reminder this was a seven day trip.| was extremely disappointed in this hotel and the staff. Staff was rude unfriendly and unhelpful. I would never stay here again!!!!! Their are alot of great locally own hotels in Puerto Rico THIS IS NOT ONE OF TH...

This hotel was so friendly and helpful. As we booked for one night and we're to move to a bigger hotel but due to the black out on the island when we arrived the young guy informed us that the power had been restored but had just gone out again.
Upon arriving the area of the hotel is ok with a super market located across the street and the building itself appears to be well maintained. The surrounding area can seem a bit sketchy at first but, it's really not it's very safe and friendly.
The staff was amazing friendly and always at hand/available when need
We ended up staying the rest of the trip through the black out And was able to meet several of the staff Adalis was a young lady whom we met later durring our stay she served our meal and was so friendly and sweet she assisted us with dinner and also was my friends birthday We bought a cake early in our trip and wake to have it kept in the freezer until the day of or dinning experience.
Every night was a young guy around 23/24 yrs old always with a smile and very friendly and in the mornings and older guy fair-skinned apologies as I didn't get the names but each individual was very helpful and assisted us durring the blackout the night time was a bit rough with the heat but once power was restored the air provided in the room was absolutely great we had a room facing the back not much of a view other than the garage but the window was large so lots of sun light was available if needed.
There was no pool from what I saw... And I didn't bother asking so... Maybe there could be.... There is and outdoor patio located on the second floor with wicker chairs and tables was nice and clean faced the street there small windows a gather from the bathrooms of other rooms that opened out to the patio our bathroom had no window but I'd rather not have one anyway... The building was clean but certainly one of the more older buildings the feeling was more of a home stay... Very friendly feel lotes of areas around the patio and second floor that could be used for groups that can sit in the patio or the large spaces around it as a dinning room or book room tons of space was available so you didn't feel cramped in nor like a cheap hotel.... Ok ok so...... The rooms at least ours was medium first I say I get a hotel to sleep not live in or invite the Jones's over for dinner so that being said the rooms were simple a bed that fit two of us without being squished or uncomfortable.... Two side tables and small TV about 23inch and an Ottoman alongside the foot of the bed.
The bathroom once again was simple mirror, toilet, and a large stand up shower no tub..... The key thank good was not electronic it was encoded with groves that work easily to open the door during the power outing.. So I give the rooms a a scale ( 1-10) I'd say 6 but what the room lacks the staff and the restaurant made up for they offered us dinner special $25 gets you a salad (didn't get to taste due to blackout) second course lentail soup was so delicious, third and main course choice of (all options are grilled... "healthy" choices) pork chops or half chicked with one side "baked patatoe, tostones, fries or risotto with mushrooms and cream sauce.
I had sample this the night the power came on... And was surprised it was amazing I fell in love with it the cook did an amazing job. and a cocktail 🍸 come with the dinner we choose to have mango martinis WOW! They were good.... Over all I have to say that my experience with the food was rating (1-10) I give them a 20* and they also came to sing happy birthday to my friend and shared cake with us... All the staff helped to make our experience great we felt so at home and safe and secure.
I would truely like thank the management and all the staff for your hard work and dedication to show us a wonderful experience during our stay and also to make us feel safe during the power outage... I would give you 20 stars ✨ Will definitely be back on my next trip...
Read moreLet me start by saying this was the second time staying and we had another future reservation for June and that has been cancelled from our end.||We do weddings at San Juan and sometimes we look for places to stay when we have early weddings. I sent a message one month in advance to the hotel requesting a room in the lower level (first floor) knowing that they don't have an elevator and we had many things to carry up. They confirmed that they will make arrangements for the accommodations and when we checked in we were assigned the 4 floor. After mentioning to the front end about my note she was able to move us to the 3rd floor. ||||We went to the room and the a/c was not working. It showed a E1 error; no phone to call the front desk; so go down the stairs again to talk to her. She said all it needed was a reset. That no previous complain has been received about the A/C. We went for diner while she reviewed the a/c and when we arrived 3 hours later the a/c was not working. So again go down the stairs; she came and asked if the a/c was running and we said no. Then she offered to see if there were other rooms available. ||||She came back and mentioned she was checking another room that the a/c was working but not cooling yet; to give her sometime. All of this at 11:00pm. We had an early day next day and just wanted to take a shower and rest. ||||She said the new room was on the 4th floor so we started moving our things upstairs. Keep in mind no elevator; no help to move your things. But we want to rest so let's do this.||||When we got to the new room I remembered we had another reservation for June and decided to go an cancel before I forget to do the cancellation as we are not planing to come back. My husband went downstairs to get ice and he was approached by the lady and asked to pick up our things and leave the hotel as we cancelled the reservation. And he was told we could not book again as we will be black listed. ||||My husband came up and told me that we needed to leave and what happened. We went again downstairs (again 4 floors) down to clarify that the cancellation was a future stay and showed the guy the email and he just replied: Oh she did not read. ||||Midnight and you still arguing about your room. Room that was paid in full (first night) when you booked and that they had our credit card for the second night. If they are in the hotel business they know you cannot cancel a reservation once you are staying. ||||The only thing positive about that hotel is the location. The rooms are not well clean; the showers need TLC; dinky tv (that did not work) and had to go again downstairs to report.||||The breakfast the bacon is so overcook that turns into dust.||||Honestly not staying. It was convenient initially and we overlook the other details but having a rude staff that overacted without reading or later apologizing for trying to kick us out. ||||No worries no need to put us in your black list. We will...
