I was debating whether or not to write this review, but I honestly had a very disappointing experience at Lo de Luiggi. After seeing all of the positive reviews, I was looking forward to dining here, especially since my family is from Argentina. The majority of the restaurant is set up outside in a parking lot with a very informal vibe. My boyfriend and I checked in with the waitress, and she told us that we could sit anywhere we liked, so we sat at a table outside and ordered a few drinks and the parrillada para 2 personas. While we were waiting for our food, my boyfriend and I decided to walk up to the grills and take a few pictures/videos to send to my family. Almost immediately, three men (who I assume worked there) walked over, stood directly in front of me, and made a passive aggressive remark to each other about the fact that I was taking photos. They stood with their backs to me instead of addressing me directly, and one younger man walked over and asked my boyfriend and I if we were going to sit down and order something. We pointed out our table and shared that we had already ordered, and then he simply smiled and walked away; but, at that point, I felt completely unwelcome and uncomfortable. Almost as though I crashed a family asado. Once our food arrived, it wasn’t anything special. The chicken was a little dry and instead of providing chimichurri for the meat, they gave us a side of beans coated in chimichurri (which surprisingly ended up being the highlight of the meal). The food was not bad, but it was not good enough to make up for the service, to the point where I didn’t even want to take the leftovers home. I am always excited to see an Argentinean restaurant with an authentic feel; but, unfortunately, this one made me feel out of place in my own...

Read moreProbably the best steak I have had in my life. Seriously I’m sitting here life and this pl hold its own in any company and I’ve b renowned places.
When I arrived the wait staff was very friendly though my Spanish definitely is not close to good. I was seated and brought the menu. Not a big menu but I believe this is the kind of place that you can’t order wrong and everything is delicious. I checked the guys at the table next to mine and each course they order looked mouth watering.
I ordered a steak with Chimichurri sauce and the 4 bean salad and wow was I blown away. I took some decent pics but they don’t do the meal justice at all. This was the kind of meal where my taste buds where having a raging party in my mouth and I didn’t want to brush my teeth anytime soon for fear I would loose that magical feeling happening in my mouth.
Thanks you Lo de Luiggi for an Epic Holiday meal and dinning experience. You guys are amazing. I will be back and be bringing more...
