Val is a lifesaver… not just for my skin, but for my entire existence!

My visit started off a little crazy when my Uber dropped me off in what looked like a pretty sketchy neighborhood. I couldn’t find the business, so I called Val and she answered right away. Before I could even finish explaining, she was already in the car coming to get me. She even taught me how to drop my location in WhatsApp and scooped me up in no time.

I was a little rattled, but Val immediately put me at ease and helped me settle in for some luxurious skincare. After a week of sun, salt, and sea, my skin desperately needed some TLC before my flight home.

She took one look, figured out exactly what I needed, customized my treatment, and went to work. The products felt and smelled amazing. I could literally feel them working in real time. Like every good esthetician, she has an arsenal of Skin Script products to get your skin glowing and hydrated. I already have pretty good skin, but when I got off that table, I couldn’t believe how healthy and radiant I looked. Wow.

Now don’t tell her I said this, but after I finally made it home (after the airline kept changing my flight and I missed the massage I had booked with her), I was too tired to wash my face before bed. I woke up the next morning and my skin was still glowing, hydrated, and moisturized.

If you’re taking an Uber here, note that the business doesn’t show up by name, so type in the address directly. I entered 1403 Calle Las Palmas (from the website), but Val later told me the previous tenant used 1413. If you’re dropped off in front of a large pink apartment building, that’s not it, but you’re only a few blocks away. The spa is painted a tranquil light green, so look for that. And if you get lost, don’t panic. Just call Val. She will come get you, just like she did me.

Val is not only incredible at what she does, but also one of the kindest people I met on the island. And that’s saying a lot because Puerto Rico is full of kind people. Her spa is beautiful, spotless, and serene. Her services are top notch and competitively priced, and the results exceeded my expectations.

I happened to find Ocean Pearl Wellness and Spa two days before the end of my trip while walking back from Condado at the end of the day. Valerie was very accommodating and managed to fit us in the day before we left for a facial and massage. She explained everything she was doing and the products she was using on my face. She uses only vegan products and her place is very clean. I even fell asleep during my facial. Valerie also gave me some sample products and recommended certain products to use based on my skin tone. I extremely pleased with my facial and my massage with Christian. I just wished I had found Ocean Pearl Wellness and Spa sooner. I will return when I’m back...
