I have eaten at other Red Mango locations and loved their açaí bowls so that’s why we chose to eat here. When we got to the store, there was only one other customer who was getting her meal to go. The clerk pawned us off to another clerk who was surly and unfriendly and acted like it was an imposition to be helping us at all. By this time, we were the only customers in the store but she definitely did not want to be serving us. We each got the grilled banana PB&J and the tropical açaí bowl. The sandwiches had about one teaspoon of peanut butter and about a quarter of a banana. They tasted fine though. Our açaí bowls were supposed to have bananas and mangoes but instead, they were covered with pineapple. My husband asked where the mangoes were. The clerk said they were out of mangoes (at Red “Mango!”) and used pineapple instead, but she didn’t tell us this before we ordered or ask if it was okay to substitute pineapple. I don’t even like pineapple and just had to pick it all out. My bowl was completely melted and could be drunk through a straw. My husband’s was hard as a rock and he had to wait for it to thaw a bit to eat it. We couldn’t understand how the consistency of the açaí could be so completely different between the two bowls when we ordered the same thing. We definitely will not be back here again. You can find much better açaí bowls just...
Read moreIf I could rate my visit less than one star I would, simply because my experience here was so unpleasant. The sweet girl taking our order and making our drinks was helpful, but when one of my orders did not taste right and I asked for it to be re-made the supervisor tried to charge me again for the same drink and was completely rude and unprofessional about the situation. He could of explained from the beginning that it’s not allowed for drinks to be re-made or simply apologized for not being able to help me but instead he told the girl to stop making our new drink because we were “leaving” and when we asked about our previous drink he said that if we had given it back then it wasn’t his fault that they had thrown it away and that we had to pay for the new drink. When he realized that the girl hadn’t thrown away our old drink, he simply placed it in front of us and walked away with an attitude. The girl looked very confused at the whole situation and I apologized to her personally for the misunderstanding. However, that does not excused how abruptly rude the supervisor was at the whole situation. Had he simply explained to us and not given us attitude and condescending looks, everything would have been fine. We will not be returning to this location simply because of the poor customer service on the...
Read moreWent there today on June 16th at 4:30pm, the cashier was really really rude, not even a hello or welcome, you know the standard. He said "whats ur order" maybe he thought I was an uber driver, no idea. Then I tell him yeah this and that no onions no tomatoes, he's like ok. Then I grab a water bottle because it says on the menu you gotta pick between water, soup or yogurt I think, and he's like sir I did not charge you the water bottle and im like, you gotta ask me what I want, solo or combo ect ect you know basic stuff. Then he's like "no, my job is to put here what you want" im like ok. I come from the hospitality industry and I was amazed how bad and rude he was, maybe he was mad, he had a bad shift or something but that's not it. And guess what they put everything inside, onions and tomatoes. First and...
