Antonia's Pizza — Restaurant in San Luis Obispo

• this is edit to my last review below. The management at Antonio's Pizza did turn things around and addressed my concerns without me speaking with them at all. I ordered under different names and through friends and family and they have been consistent in the service and the food. Thank you for listening to your customers *

This is my 2nd review. The 1st review was a 5 star because the pizza is good, and the appetizers taste even better and also that their management was good. No doubt they cook good food till date but if its unavailable most of the times off lately and that the appetizers are shrinkflated for some reason now, and you are left wandering whether will you get it, or not, after ordering online and that leaves a bad taste.

I am their regular customer who has ordered home delivery from them long enough to now say that their service has drastically changed, especially in the past one month. I don't know if they sold themselves out to some other management, but I don't see the same level of customer commitment and satisfaction as the previous gentleman and lady provided. Earlier they would call and let you know what item is unavailable or cancel the order, but now they accept the order and call to inform you what items is not ready for delivery. As a customer when I see in the app that they are preparing my order, I am assuming that everything is being prepared but then when its ready for delivery they give same robotic answers of what they ran out of, leaving you wondering where those old folks are. This pattern of accepting orders and then sending partial delivery is recurring thing at least in my case. They should mark the item unavailable on the apps they are on just like many other restaurants do.

I am local and I will still order from them to support local business until the point I feel okay. I will go back to the old habit of calling them first and then order, after confirming from them, just like old times.I just hope their food quality stays intact.

Me and my boyfriend stopped for lunch last Saturday. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a guy who happily told us about a promotion they had and took our order. Nothing really especial: two slices of pizza, garlic bread, and potato wedges. The guy gave us our pizza right away and let the lady from the kitchen know the rest of our order, she instantly showed a face of disgust and went into the kitchen. The lady brought out food to the table, but we were already done with our pizza so we didn’t even eat it.

I needed to use the restroom that was “out of order”. Which is really funny cause there was another family in the restaurant and she allowed them to use the restroom, and showed much more attention and respect to them than she did to me and my boyfriend. After the family left, the guy who helped us out first talked to her and she yelled at him in front of us, no discretion or respect towards him either (I feel sorry for you, bud.)

As we’re done with our food, my boyfriend got up and got a box to go. Then again she showed a face of annoyance and gave them to him, while all of this happens there’s a couple of ladies standing by the register and she gladly shared a conversation with them and asked them out loud “you guys are locals, right?”. Me and my boyfriend were carrying cameras with us that day as we were on a trip, so I think she made it clear with that question. She didn’t like us because we were tourists.

We didn’t say anything nor complained, we grabbed our stuff and as we left we still showed some respect and gratitude like people do in the place we come from, we thanked her for the service and wished her a nice day. We still received NO answer.

If you’re look for a place to have a nice lunch, and a good time. This for sure ain’t it. Ma’am needs to work on her costumer service and the treatment she offers to her coworkers. If you don’t like someone, pls keep it to yourself as you’re in your work place. Not coming back...
