Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in San Marcos

I went to this location for the first time today. I was really excited because I use to go to shipleys when I was younger so I decided to try the one out in san marcos. I am not the one to complian but I have to be honest about my experience this morning. Im not sure what her name was but she was pretty rude. I felt rushed when I was in there and she had a bad attitude like she was upset about something or she didn't want to be there. I had no idea what I wanted and I let her know I didn't come often so she walked off immediately and said let me know when your ready but it was with a attitude. At least a minute later she comes and ask me again was I ready and I actually wasn't thats why I had not waved her down to take order. She made me feel uncomfortable so I settled for a few things off the menu to just get out of there. She didnt even hand me my bags she just kinda threw them down..gave me my reciept and that was the end of it. It was not busy in the inside at all so I dont understand why she was rushing me and rude. The donuts were good. But the customer service wasn't good. I wont...

This place took a page out of let's ignore our customers and they WILL go away playbook. I took my daughter in to use the restroom. They had the area closed off, so I simply asked if the restroom(s) were open. Crickets. I didn't see any signs of hearing impairment, but if I missed them, my bad. I ask again. I have no vested interest in whether the restrooms are open or not. A simple yes, no, maybe, I don't know, It's my first day, are all acceptable answers. I receive no answer at all. Well if you cannot answer a question, do I dare trust you taking my order? No one can answer a fairly simple question. How can I trust you with ANY financial transaction that might occur later. Wow.
