Its sad that I use to work here and i was just being respectful to the staff. The kid came out with my order he didnt give me the full amount i was like ah hey did the change blow away since it was windy out a little bit. But it was what ever he fixed his mistake and i just was like hey just keep this 10 as your tip to make sure you dont come up short and just check at the end of the day to make sure since i knew he was sorta new to working or may have previously worked here who knows. But my old manager comes out and tells me not to tell her staff what to do and i was just being nice. It was very rude since i was a customer looking out for the employee to not come up short. Ive had random customers tell me the same thing and thats how i never came up short other then one time. But the way she said was hey i see you gave my employee his 10 back that was nice of you since she said he over payed me when he didnt she wants watching. Im not happy with how she told me so after that i will never come here again this place has gone down hill since i left and now i see why. And excuse me if i want to tell a employee just to make sure they dont come up short on the cash they handle like i had respect for sonic and still do but thats now changed thanks to my old manager who she didnt have to do that to me today when im a customer now its rude and thats why i didnt say anything rude to her. I understand employees sometimes get an order wrong, and I didn't mind at all. I asked if they could fix my order and they sent a manager out. A female manager (don't know her name) came out and very rudely said she took my order and only heard "cherry vanilla slush" (even though I repeated "cherry vanilla cream slush" twice), then said if she had "known I wanted a cream slush, she would have told me the ice cream machine was broken." Again, I understand that machines break, and that's not what upset me. This manager was unprofessional and rude (not to mention completely wrong about my order despite insisting that I had told her my order wrong even though I repeated it twice). This isn't the first time my order from this sonic has been wrong or the machine has been broken (it's broken a lot for somewhere with a menu that's largely composed of ice cream items), but this experience with the poor customer service has completely turned me off of this sonic. When we got our order we were given raspberry slushes, which wasn’t an issue. We then pressed the red button and said that we had ordered blue raspberry slushies not raspberry.
