Sandy City Hall — Local services in Sandy

I've been around a lot of cities in Utah. Even though it has a lot of shops they're not ideal to stay open in realistic times. The city has crime still as they hide it well. West Jordan would be a better place to live and have a real life. In fact there are many other places that are better than this one. I'm grateful the older generation is still around. However they will pass on and the younger generation are not going to be treating this place really well. At least you guys aren't Ogden as we can all agree that's a bad city. Haha. New edition to the police there at Sandy either they're over at work and they need to hire more or they're just plain lazy. My wife's car got smashed and it will be totaled now at the mall parking lot south town next to the new hockey place that's being built. The mall had no cameras in that area of course. I understand that the police can't do much but they could have assisted the situation for my wife. I'm disappointed and is pleased with the service that we pay as citizens and I believe you work for us. She called at 9:15 p.m. and we were there till 1:00 in the morning after our insurance had a tow truck pick it up. Again I'm very displeased either hire more and get the crime off the streets which I've noticed has become worse or it's time to buck up and get the job done. I'm not giving it a one star because I was helped and my questions were answered. HOWEVER, why would you have someone running that department that hates helping people? You know the kind that wakes up looking for a fight and LOVES to prove people wrong? Let's just say this, in a lifetime, a person might get a passport. They might even renew it a time or 2. That's not a lot of practice when it comes to the process. So the lady who processes multiple a day, multiple times per week should be helpful, don’t you think? Instead we got a human that enjoys being passive aggressively ignorant. I can't tell you how many times I was told it was the state rule blah blah, like she was defensive from the jump. Went to get an acceptance agent for my passport today at 12:30 and I’m not sure who’s shift it was or what her name was but the older lady at the desk was being very rude to a family in front of me and as of me.
