This is not the best Indian/Nepalese food I have tried in Utah but it’s very , very close. It’s located on St Street , easy to find and plenty of parking around. They serve a lunch buffet but I have been here mostly to dinner. The Malai Kofta is very , very good , one of the best I have tried. The Chicken Tikka Masala is decent but not out of extraordinary. Their appetizers are good but not the best. The Pakoras are the best , while the Samosas (veggie) aren’t as good as other places. Their basmati rice is always cook to perfection and has a great flavor as well as their garlic Naan bread , which is not “fresh” (is pre made , like the appetizers are too) but it’s flavor is there. They need to improve their Chutneys. Service is ok , the waiters aren’t the most talkative ones but they’re pleasant. I can recommend this place if you’re looking for a lunch buffet or good veggie plates.

BUFFET STILL CANCELED. I couldn’t find anywhere if the buffet was back after COVID restrictions but as of this week it is still not available. It says in their listing and on their restaurant door that it’s open, they’re even all set up for it still, but don’t be fooled. I asked about it and the man just turned away, mumbling a dismissal. I had to get his attention again to tell him that we still wanted to dine there anyhow. It was incredibly awkward. Got some lunch anyhow because the reviews rave about this place. It tasted good, but the serving sizes were really small for the price and, despite being almost the only ones there, the service was impersonal, slow, and sparse. Considering the other quality Indian/Nepalese restaurants in the area, I wouldn’t recommend this one.

First time to Everest Curry. One of the few times ever eating Nepalese cuisine! I love cultures and it’s foods. THIS WAS FANTASTIC! Bhim kindly made suggestions at my request. I had the Malai Chicken, Garlic Naan bread, and Mango Lassi. Very high quality. The mango tasted fresh, not processed. (If it was processed it was of highest quality, but I think it was fresh).. The Malai was sizzling heavily when it was served. Very impressive. The tastes and textures were heavenly. I could not have been happier. The restaurant is modest, clean, and cozy. The music was folkloric, but soft and well chosen for easy listening and mood-setting. The service was kind, and fast. I will be returning.

Good food, but maybe order it to go. Im from out of town and love this sorta food so I was so excited to bring my little one to try some of the food I love. There’s no lunch buffet anymore and no explanation as to why which was disappointing but ok no big deal. But once we got there, maybe the waiter was having a bad day or something because we were treated almost like an inconvenience. I had to go get the booster seat, and an extra set of utensils because he only brought the one. The wait was alright, and the food was quite tasty. We got the lamb curry, and it was very tasty and the lowest spice level was good for my little one too. The naan was warm and soft and very good too. We then watched the waiter come with a pitcher of water and refilled the other tables but avoided ours. Honestly it was just stiff and not child friendly. It wasn’t until another family came in hoping for the buffet (which there’s no mention on the website it’s closed) with two kids that things were a little less tense for us. We paid and tipped well, like I said maybe he was having a rough day but next time I’ll just order to go and...

So good part first, the mango lassi is really tasty! A little thin but really flavorful. Now for the bad. The strawberry lassi has very little flavor while also being thin. The price online also says 2.59 for each lassi. Why was I charged $5 each? The garlic naan says online that it's 2.99 for each order. I got 4 orders. That's about $12. Why was I charged $5 each? On top of that, each order is a single naan cut in half, with each half having a tiny smear in the very middle of the garlic. The rest is flavorless and doughy. My order that should've been about $18 minus tax was $28 with tax. Honestly even $18 would've been too much. I've had incredibly better naan at 2.99 and incredibly better lassi at 2.99 from, I wanna say, every other place that serves those items? I'm unhappy with this place. The cashier also seemed annoyed to talk to me on the phone and in person, but I try not to hold that against a restaurant - it's hard not to when the food quality is much less...

Had lamb biriyani. Did I spell that right? Extra spicy. It was spicy. More rice than lamb but flavorful. Honestly, why is lamb such an expensive meat? Those things eat everything and can't possibly be worth more than beef and chicken...

My youngest had chicken korma. More chicken than korma. Mild. Nice but the chicken was dry and there were no golden raisins. There were a few cashews so it was exotic.

We had a veggie dumpling thing battered in chickpea flour and deep fried with that tamarind and mint chutney stuff they do. Solid and my middle's favorite.

The water was pure and clear with cubed ice. The bathrooms were clean with hot water. They've been there two years and will be at least another two if I have anything to do with it.

Nice little dining room with booths and tables. Excellent service and all the waiters are named "Manish."

I give it four out of five stars and will make this a regular go-you when I want Indian food. You...
