NOTE - I contacted Einstein's via the link in the chat below and was just given more runaround. At this time, the only update I would make to this order would be to remove the one star I had to give them. Used to be great, not sure what happened. We order here weekly (if not twice a week). But on Tuesday we placed an in-store order that they completely messed up. When I called, the manager (Natalia) told me to come back in because she couldn't refund the order (not sure I believe that). But I accepted it since we typically order from here a few times a week, anyway, and we made an arrangement for me to go in later that week to get the correct order. When I went, they made the order wrong again and when I tried to tell them, Natalia counted the layers on the bagel and told me it was how it should be on the menu - which is true - it was the menu item, but I had ordered different bagels from what is on the menu. Instead of listening, she insisted it was the menu item (which was still wrong). Terrible customer service and the staff can't get orders correct anymore (I overheard others in the store with the wrong bagels/sandwiches while I waited for my replacement order). To add insult to injury, the bagels were also OLD OLD OLD and crumbly - not what I am used to getting from Einstein's. Lastly - Natalia also told me I could call prior to getting my replacement order so I could just pick it up without waiting, but when I did as she said, I just waited on the phone for 30 mins bcs they wouldn't answer the phone. This location used to be good, but not anymore. Eat somewhere else - or if you need Einstein's, do yourself a favor and go to a different location, even if it means going out of the way to do it. Read moreI asked before I ordered if they had enough Asiago bagels for me and they say yes, then once I am at checkout they try changing one because they made someone else's order before mine because it was a Togo order even though the order came in after mine it got priority? Noooo I'm sorry I ordered first. I don't know if the manager had everyone on edge or what this morning, but everyone working seemed angry and upset with her. She would also ask Questions instead of figuring things out by herself. I feel bad for grecia and the lady busting out the bagels. They were the only ones oiled everyone else looked like they were out of place. Don't try to make me still buy a bagel that's different then what I want. I asked in the beginning for Asiago if you didn't have enough you shouldn't have said yes then screwed me in the end. She asked there was only one needed and there was 3 left I asked for all three. I love this location because it is always clean, they get orders made correctly and everyone is always so nice and friendly. Seriously, a smile on their faces all the time.
Today was a great experience though because of Felix at the counter. His vibe immediately welcomed me in, he complimented my shirt, talked to me about different options and things to add to my bagel (which of course I did) and it was delicious!
The manager, Bernice, is always wiping down counters and cleaning if she isn’t making bagel sandwiches on the line along side the crew. I’m always impressed and appreciate the service I get here. Love it when a leader will do all the jobs instead of just pointing. Great job building a community with your team!
I also met a manager today that I see here often. Brenda talks to every single employee when I am here and makes sure to say to goodbye to everyone on the way out. Having worked in the service industry, this means so much because there are days you just don’t feel noticed as an employee. I wish more leaders were like this Brenda!
