TWO STARS (Four star update) The facility is nice. It’s clean. My piercer was nice as well however, there was a huge miscommunication in the wording of pricing.
First, I was anticipating getting pierced by a junior piercer for a little bit cheaper of a price And I called The night prior to confirm availability. So I had a guesstimate on how much I was going to spend. I visit the shop and I met with an advanced piercer, which was fine. I was OK with a little bit of a difference confirmed that it would be $60 for the two lobes and immediately followed up with a question about how much jewelery pricing would be. This is where the wording was misleading instead of saying “that one is 30” it was “they’ll be 30” and given the context of the conversation it would’ve been a plural amount of $30 total. I had added another piercing while I was In the chair, knowing my budget in my head. Asking how much it would be to add another one, the jewelry of the next one I decided to pick and so on.
So when I was met after getting pierced with my payment screen, it was double what I expected and what we had been talking about. Call it a misunderstanding, but it seemed a little shady because the person that I went there with understood the situation the same way I did given conversation context and wording.
This is in no way a reflection of the skill of the piercer because they were great I was comfortable, but their wording in pricing was misleading and not being presented with a total for even the two lobes before I started should be changed; so that way a price is agreed-upon beforehand, and not when the jewelry is in my ear with no chance to change my mind or discuss it since it’s already been done.
UPDATE after this review I was reached out to promptly by the store again. Despite the discrepancy, we were able to reach a compromise and all in all help one another given the situation. That type of business model and people running it is something admirable and I feel like I should come back here to write that. Word choice in miscommunication happen it’s unfortunate that it was me, but I’m utterly grateful for the discussion I was able to have with the business to come to a resolution That benefits both of us. Thank you again for reaching out as...

Read morePlease don’t visits this “piercing shop” they scammed me out of $2800 for the course I took. I walked out never preforming/ learning a rook, forward helix, rook, navel, daith, or a septum. Gabby didn’t take enough steps to make sure I was fully trained but she still certified me knowing I didn’t complete these areas. Which is a huge risk on her part because she’s the one who “trained” me. So everything I do wrong will fall back on her and her studio because she certified me with knowing I didn’t perform half of the piercings I paid for. At a certain point gabby should just showed me on fake skin so she could at least say i practiced on a fake ear but she didn’t so know we wait for her to give me my money back or respond because she knows she scammed me :) I didn’t sign a contract witch should’ve been the first REG FLAG for me. So if you’re a student or a customer don’t visit this shop! Go to an actual tattoo shop where they do full range...
