Sharetea — Restaurant in Santa Ana

I had been visiting this location for a couple of months when a friend at my work referred me to it. I enjoyed their boba and their milk tea and fruit teas were delicious. I didn’t think that I would have a bad experience here but yesterday was unfortunately the first and last one they made. I had tried a taro based milk tea somewhere else and I was excited to try it at ShareTea. I ordered it some ice cream to add a creamy texture, and drove home. When I got out of my car I dropped it and lost the drink. I snapped a picture and raced over before closing and made it with time to spare. I asked if I could get it redone and showed them the picture, and they turned me down. If they were respectful about it I would’ve understood, but when I said if they could help me just this once because I’m a regular, the asian lady at the front just stared at me for a good 10 seconds before shutting me down with attitude. One of the employees was willing to make me a drink, but she told him to stop. Since I wanted boba, I agreed to pay for it, hut they ran out of the taro so I had to get the regular. The shift lead was very rude and didn’t treat me with any respect whatsoever. I hope the manager hears about this.

TLDR: Good boba, but prices are expensive and if you spill your drink don’t bother. Other boba places will...

Fresh milk and handmade taro w boba:

Delicious but the texture is gritty because of the taro and ice so it turns into a weird slush. The boba is absolutely bomb though, perfectly sweet, squishy, and big! I love it! The drink could be better but the boba is so good that I'm willing to overlook that. Also it isnt that sweet at regular sweetness which is good.

Kiwi fruit tea w aiyu jelly and boba 30% sweet no ice:

This was alright. Despite being only 30% sweet, it was much sweeter than the fresh milk family & fresh milk handmade taro at regular sweetness. The kiwi makes it more tart which I didn't like actually. The peach flavor is very subtle. The boba is super good though and works better w milky drinks... wait it says kiwi fruit tea but I ordered peach kiwi tea umm.... this would've gotten 4 stars but -1 for that :///

Fresh milk family:

This was really good actually! The drink tastes like brown sugar milk tea and regular sweetness isn't that sweet. The boba is very tasty and everything else meshes well together. I don't recall the grass jelly or pudding taste too well as I only tried two...

The workers deserve a raise!

The menu is consistent and the same as their other locations, which is nice. I recommend getting their flavored and milk teas if you're not familiar with the franchise.

Halo Halo: 10/10 - perfectly made and toppings were well-cooked

There were only 2 workers working when we came, and it was quite crowded, so we waited for about 10 minutes for our drinks. Only 1 of the workers was making all the drinks, and there seemed to be a lot to be done, so we were understanding.

Even though it was quite hectic, he still made our drinks perfectly, and we enjoyed them. Compared to other locations, the interior was kind of small, but they had a decent amount of seating.
