LOVE Kickin' Crab! By far one of my restaurant chains. Kickin' Crab is comparable to the Boiling Crab but in my opinion, a much better choice.
The restaurant is located on MacArthur and Bristol in Santa Ana. You cannot miss it because it's in the same shopping plaza as Pizza Rev, Sprint, and Chipotle. Parking is generally not an issue because there's plenty in the front and back of the restaurant. One of the best reasons to choose Kickin' Crab over Boiling Crab is the wait time. For example, Boiling Crab expect to wait at least a hour or two to be seated. Generally there is no wait at Kickin' Crab and if there is, it's about 15-20 minutes. Automatic score, well in my book.
As far as food, I generally stick with hot Cajun fries and 1 pound of shrimp with sausages, Kickin' Style [all spices]. The shrimps are a bit larger than Boiling Crab and the flavors just mesh well. I also recommend the garlic noodles, very tasty.
Kickin' Crab has awesome customer service. I find myself being greeted once I step foot in the door, the walk to the table and walk of the restaurant. The servers ensure the customers have everything they need [limes, salt, pepper, refilled drinks]. This my choice for Cajun food. Love the ambiance, delicious food,...
Read moreBEST SEAFOOD BOIL/Crab legs in town and in multiple States, I’ve had Crab legs in Miami, Atlanta, Las Vegas, San Diego, and several other places around Orange County that claim to be good, and although they might be tasty, Kicking Crab is miles ahead in terms of FLAVOR, consistency and experience. Kicking Crab has always been my go to place since the first time I had it, and I compare other restaurants to their flavor, they have since become the standard. Food always comes out quickly and piping hot, and there are lots of menu items for those not interested in crab legs, specially kids, such as pasta/noddles or fried options. Their sauce (Kicking style) is the star of the show ✨✨ I’m not sure what they put in this sauce but it’s AMAZING, I could drink this thing 😅. Take yourself and your family to any of the locations and be ready to have your palate delighted with a wide range of flavors not found anywhere else. You will come back. I...
Read moreWe came here for dinner on a Sunday night; it was packed and the wait time was an hour. However after waiting 40 minutes they rearranged their tables and made a place for my family and I to sit. They had plenty of different options, but I really liked that they had deals sea food boil bags with different prices and options. Everyone including my daughter and nephew who don’t like sea food were able to eat because of their options. The food was absolutely delicious, hot, full of flavor, Al even the crawfish was yummy and I’m usually not a fan. To top it off the servers there were friendly especially our server Kai; although we were not the only table he hosted he made sure to stop by every so often and ask for refills or if we needed anything else. We are from Arizona, but when we come visit Cali we will definitely make a stop at...
