Nick The Greek — Restaurant in Santa Barbara

My husband and I came to this location hoping to eat at the restaurant that used to be here once upon a time (Natural Cafe), but decided to stick around anyway because we like Mediterranean as well. So glad we did! The food was fantastic! The falafel was so fresh, and tasted more pleasantly herbed than any I’ve ever had before; the “Greek fries” (with feta and scallions) were ridiculously tasty; and the froyo was super good, with a yogurty tang to it. Music was set at the perfect volume, too (not too loud, just loud enough to provide pleasant background). But most of all, all of the staff we interacted with were seriously wonderful—so friendly, helpful, and understanding. They even have guest Wifi! Greek food chain impresses with delicious gyros and friendly service. The food is offered here in a fast-food setting. You order at the counter and find your own seat. We do not get Greek very often, but we might more often now thanks to Nick. The chicken and beef/lamb gyros were both very good. Not cheap mind you at $16.50 including fries, but very tasty.
