Was in Cost Plus earlier today and had a great experience with the manager, Jaime. My mom wanted to purchase a mirror, but unfortunately it was sold out. She then helped us get online to see if we could find it there. Nothing left online, so the next thing she did was see if she could locate a store near us that had one , than purchase online through their store for curbside pickup which would allow a 20 % off coupon. Turned out that all nearby stores were sold out but she didnât stop there. She then a 10% discount off the display mirror, since all other options were exhausted. My mom happily took her up on the last viable choice & am happy to say sheâs so happy she did. Itâs such a marvel to experience, not only a professional & efficient leader, but also so personable & good spirited. What a breath of fresh air she is. Sadly, the customer service has declined dramatically recently which makes it unnecessarily difficult to place an online order with discount , then pick up in store. I donât blame their store managers, I fault the management who trains them. Corporate promotes a one time 25% off discount, allowing pickup in store, which I like to avoid excess shipping. However, when the order is âshortedâ due to low inventory, they will NOT let you receive the same discount when you arrive 12 hours later to pickup the order EVEN THOUGH the inventory âshortedâ on your order is ON THEIR OWN SHELVES now because the truck came in overnight. Spent an hour there today trying to straighten this out, and was told repeatedly I had to cancel and reorder online. On my way out, the same store manager was arguing with another customer who was even more frustrated than I was. Courtney was so helpful and attentive, even finding a measuring stick to double measure the dimensions of the couch for me.
