The food was amazing. Best chicken sandwich I ever had. When I went to thank the chef, the “host” outside with the dog met me with the most rude and dismissive response I’ve ever experienced in 25 years of dining. Will never be back because of that, and I cannot imagine the thousands of dollars they just lost because of it. Shame on you, sir.
Aron’s snarky response says everything you should know about him. I didn’t walk into the kitchen. You know you could have been more gracious, but you weren’t. I’ve traveled the world my good man, and I’ve never encountered a more ungrateful and rude person as you. I’ll do you a solid, since it’s clear you have no experience in hospitality. You’re in the restaurant business: take some accountability and show some decency.
We didn't walk into the kitchen. This is what Aron said to us after our family was kind to their staff and generous with our tip:
Please tell your server if you have a comment or ask for a manager- please don’t ever walk into our kitchen. By the way, our chef is off tonight. I’m assuming you’ve never been to a restaurant before so I’ll do you a solid - Customers aren’t allowed in the kitchen unless invited by the staff or manager. Aron.

Aron,
Your condescending note says a lot about you and nothing about us. We treated your staff with kindness, tipped generously, and even complimented the kitchen—because that’s how we operate.
Your response wasn’t just rude, it was arrogant and completely unnecessary. If you had the slightest sense of hospitality, you’d know how to address a guest with respect, especially one who supported your business in good faith.
We’ve dined at some of the best establishments in the world. Believe me, we know how restaurants work. The ones worth returning to don’t talk down to their patrons or assume the worst. They show gratitude.
You look foolish. You're an ego-driven, macho jerk - and everyone knows it.
Consider this feedback from someone you’ll never see in your kitchen—or your dining...
Read morethis place is a joke. person who runs the place cares more about his ego than the business. they hire highschool kids who can hardly communicate and when experienced personnel come to apply he just blew you off. without even asking anything about experience or skills. I stopped by omw to Bay area, previously sent my resume. liked the place by Google pictures even reviews were not the best. but I used to run very similar place with similar energy and crowd and missed it a lot. kinda sentimental... stopped specifically to talk with someone responsible. during hiliday. specifically at the day time when they were 25% busy - 4 tables inside and out. guy who runs a place was more mad that I interrupted him than was interested in a nice candidate. even I apologized for interruption. but luckily you opened up, dude - I wouldn't like to work under command of such an arrogant boss. if you do not appreciate experienced people, who took their time and came for you themselves - good luck hiring young girls hardly reached adulthood. nothing against girls though, but weird tendency, no surprise reviews are so low. I don't know how long you are in the business, but when someone honored me by showing up at my place on holiday and was ready to hustle - I'd at least pay him professional respect by talking to him. just because this person is grinding and show obvious will to work. and that's what is important for me. I alone can generate more profit than 5 of your school girls. but yep -your business, your rules. I also worked with hipsters and my team took pride for working in my place because I took care of them. and yes btw we've been the top bar for Cyclists in fixed gear community ratings... anyway - good like with your lil ego, shitbagtittyf*ck, I promise I won't spend more of your 'busy' time and I will never visit. if you treat your potential candidates like this I wonder what happens when people actually start working...
Read moreThe Cruisery has become one of our favorite places to stop for a quick bite or to sit down and watch the game on one of their big screen t.v.'s. Each time we go I try a different menu item. I love their unique names for their selections! Tonight we had their Smash Burger. This burger is made with ground beef, topped with cheddar cheese, sliced pockets, red onion, tomatoes, lettuce, their house thousand island dressing on a brioche bun. (Too much bun and not enough meat tonight for some reason). The menu has Starters, Salads, Flatbread, Sandwiches and Sliders.
We also enjoyed their Shrimp Tacos made with Chipotle creama, shredded cabbage, pickled onion and cotija. They are spicy! Good thing the Cruisery gives each table their own cold refillable glass bottle of water.
Speaking of drinks, this is why you really come here. The food is good but not really craveable. The Cruisery has a large beer menu with all sorts of great favorites. They have a Lavendar Lemonade you need to try! It's a beautiful purple color. They have a Jalepeno Tequila cocktail, very yummy. Tonight I enjoyed the Margarita with my Shrimp Tacos. Just the right amount of food, so I could enjoy my walk back to the marina.
The Cruisery has outdoor dining (still as I write this) and indoor dining on large wood tables. Music is entertaining and on the louder side, there are several screens playing sports, and The Cruisery did not forget your pet. There are water bowls at the entrance and individual to take to your table! Nice!
The staff is extremely friendly. Service is not the quickest, but enjoy the game and the brew until your order is taken. The meal comes out quickly once the order is placed. Plus The Cruisery has the best customers. So friendly. We always...
