Casa De La Vina — Hotel in Santa Barbara

UPDATED- We stayed at CDLV again - this time in the small studio Unit #5- and though it was much smaller (duh, a studio vs. a 2br/2ba apartment!) it was clean, fully stocked and very comfortable. You never know - but we were pleasantly surprised that 8 months after our initial stay the place is still in excellent condition, the management is still top notch, and the property is perfect for our SB stays. We have to say that Casa De La Vina is our new 'Santa Barbara Home' - perfect location, comfy, clean, and great for when we come down to visit our son :). Also, generously stocked with a Nespresso machine and plenty of coffee capsules- so appreciated to get started on the day without having to leave the room! Lol! |.. Fantastic Stay! Exceeded expectations for these picky travelers!|We really lucked out staying in the 2br/2ba space for a few days while helping our son settle in Santa Barbara. So clean, spacious, comfortable, well located and loaded with all the amenities you could possibly need- and a few you didn’t even realize you want! Excellent friendly and professional communication and management team- everything was easy and way above expectations! The only thing I didn’t love was the shower -which took a long time to heat up and has no good pressure- but that’s minor! The modern renovation and decor was fabulous. We own a vacation rental and I know how hard it is to provide a clean comfortable home away from home. Casa de la vina was a wonderful surprise for us picky travelers- highly highly recommend! We wanted to stay longer … and we will definitely be back every time we return to Santa...

I recently stayed at Casa de la Vina and was thoroughly impressed by the seamless experience from start to finish. The keyless check-in was a standout feature—using just my phone to unlock the suite door eliminated the need for front desk interactions and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. It was a refreshing change to bypass traditional check-in hassles and dive straight into relaxation.

The suite itself was a dream. Impeccably clean and designed with an eye for aesthetics, every detail was thoughtfully considered. The high-quality products provided—from tart remover to beach towels and coffee/tea supplies—showed that the team at Casa de la Vina truly cares about their guests' comfort. There were no extra requests or complaints from my side, as everything I could possibly need was already at hand.

Check-out was just as effortless as check-in; I simply closed the door behind me and left. The tech-driven door access was not only convenient but added a modern touch to the stay. The responsive staff further enhanced the experience, ensuring everything was perfect without needing direct interaction.
