Smoke This Hookah Lounge really elevated my standards how a hookah lounge should operate professionally and providing outstanding customer service. I've been an avid hookah goer for about 10 years, traveling through a bulk of CA's Bay Area hookah lounges and I've had a hookah experience in nearly every state. Here is why Smoke This Hookah Lounge is deserving of my 5-Star review and why they stand out across all the lounges I've been to.

With my first visit to Smoke This Hookah Lounge, I was greeted with a warm welcome from Co-Owner Saif, who pleasantly guided me through the menu, allowed me to smell some flavors of recommendation and even gave me a Turkish Tea on the house as a welcome gift, which was phenomenal. The lounge is open seating, has wifi, clean and comfortable open space and bathrooms, and a perfect place to knock out computer work, solo sessions, or hanging out with friends. They clean their hookahs after each use and provide disposable hoses which gets tossed immediately after your session is done. After my first session, I came back within the same week and Saif's brother and co-owner, Atiq, greeted me with the same hospitality and even elevated my go-to flavors with his advise, which is now my new shisha combination. Their service and attention to their customers is what really put them on the map for me as my new go-to lounge.

In my previous experience with other lounges, I find myself having to attend to my own hookah, usually having to ask for more coals after about 20-30 mins from the first set of coals. At Smoke This, they're very aware that a coal refresh is crucial to your hookah experience and will do a customer check about every 5-10 mins, ensuring your time here is pleasant and comfortable. If you need to ask them for any assistance with your hookah they are quick to happily assist you v.s. acting like your questions are inconveniencing them; something I've experienced at other lounges.

Additionally, they have a hookah happy hour seven days a week from 12-3 p.m.

In conclusion, Smoke This Hookah Lounge ticks all my boxes on how a professional hookah lounge should be ran with having their customer service as a top priority. I have a hookah lounge down the street from my house which I could easily go to, but the level that Smoke This Hookah Lounge brings to the table makes the few extra miles of travel well worth my time. First of all: Hands Down best hookah in all of the Bay area peninsula region. This place is absolutely amazing. I have been to every hookah bar all the way from millbrae to San Jose (no kidding) in the peninsula and there is no match to their quality and pricing. They always prepare the hookah and have it running smoothly before they bring it to you, so no coughing and pulling hard to set it up in the beginning!

The owner is a family who are a really nice group of friendly people. They always take care of the customers and always make a point of telling us that if you don't like it, we will change the flavor for you. And they have done that a few times for me!

The place has a large set of couches and TVs pointing in every direction and they usually have sports games up on them. The place is open a respectable amount of time every day and longer during weekends. The parking is really easy, there's a lot right beside the place with always available parking. I've been going here for almost 1.5 years now and never had issue with parking in the lot.

As a bonus, they also own a restaurant right beside called Wrap This which serves pretty good Mediterranean food and they will deliver it right to you in Smoke this while you're smoking!

If I could give 4.5 I would. This lounge is truly just a step or two from greatness. Atmosphere: 10/10 - The space is small, but feels very open and spacious. Music is on, but not overpoweringly loud; one could very comfortably have a long conversation without having to shout. Lighting is also very good, both with the lights on and off. Hookah: 6/10 - The hookah pipes themselves are rather loud, with a metallic rattling noise that I personally found rather distracting. They gave great clouds, and the flavor wasn't impacted by the pipe at all. Coals: 10/10 - The coals didn't impart any kind of unpleasant flavor to the shisha, and they were babysat just enough to keep them from releasing much ash into the bowl. Shisha: 10/10 - The flavor of the bowl I was given was great. I asked the person behind the counter to surprise me with a mix, and they brought out a very smooth, lightly minty flavor that smoked smoothly all the way through.
