Nekter Juice Bar — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

I am never usually one to even write reviews and the only reason I am writing this is because I love going to this Nekter location on my lunches, the employees are always friendly and the bowls are usually amazing, and just hope I don't keep having the same problems.

The last two times before today that I have gone, I have ordered my favorite Acai Peanut Butter Bowl, but have been a little bummed because both times half of my bowls have been a huge solid chunk of ice. Like I said, I usually never have this problem, but the last two times I was disappointed to find this when I opened my bowl to eat.

Today, I got there at 12:35, usually PLENTY of time to get a bowl before I go back to work. I was the only person in line and the other customer was a lady who was already paying, so I didn't worry at all. However, I believe there were some issues with her card and I didn't end up get helped until 12:50, which is a significantly long wait considering I was the only one in line. No one acknowledged what the wait was or that their was a problem (if I would have known there would be such a delay, I would have left to get lunch elsewhere for the day). I was finally acknowledge and no apology for the wait, I asked how long it would be for a bowl and by that time, I was out of time.

Like I said, I really don't want this to be so much a complaint, just more of a little feedback because I do love...

This was my first time to Nekter Juice Bar. I have always gone to a different place.

However, today we noticed this little cute shop while over at Target. Boy, did we get a wonderful surprise!

To the Owner/Manager, if I could make a request or suggestion? It would be really fabulous to get the Acai Superfood Bowl calorie count down to a healthy meal size (300 - 450). Currently, it's over by 125 calories. I ended up throwing out part of my order. 😔 Maybe not a big deal, but it is so good the temptation to finish the rest of the bowl is too powerful, and would have melted before I got home. Maybe consider offering 2 sizes? Single serving, and one to share? 😃

I will definitely be back and telling my friends and family about this little...

First time at this location and was pretty surprised by how unfriendly the vibe was. Noticed that nobody greeted me or even acknowledged my existence until I was at the register for a couple of minutes—and I was the only one in there at the time. I ate there and saw that none of the workers greeted other customers with a simple “hello” or “welcome” that came in later on. I’ve never seen that before as someone who has worked in the F&B industry. It was very quiet, it seemed almost… eerie?

My acai bowl was pretty good, although it tasted like they put in the tiniest amount of peanut butter. It tasted just like the regular acai bowl with just the slightest hint of PB. The whole point of the bowl I ordered was for the peanut butter? May as well make my own...
