If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. My recent visit to Capeesh Pizza at the Santa Fe Place Mall was nothing short of extraordinary, and that’s entirely thanks to the incredible craftsmanship and hospitality of Gilbert Ortiz.

From the very moment I walked up to the counter, Gilbert treated me not just as a customer, but as a valued guest. He carries himself with a professionalism and warmth that instantly sets the tone for the experience. In a world where genuine customer service often feels rare, Gilbert goes above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome, respected, and excited about your meal.

And then… there was the pizza. Let me tell you: Gilbert created what I can confidently call the best pizza I have ever had in my life. Every detail was perfection. The crust had that ideal balance—crispy on the outside, yet soft and chewy in the center, with just the right hint of char for depth of flavor. The sauce was vibrant and fresh, layered with just the right amount of seasoning so that every bite had richness without being overpowering. The cheese was perfectly melted, stretchy and golden, and the toppings were thoughtfully arranged and cooked to absolute perfection.

I have to say we LOVE this pizza! It is truly the best NY Style pizza in Santa Fe. The only reason for the low overall rating is this - we ordered online to pick up a Vegetarian Pizza: XXX sauce, mozzarella, feta, spinach, mushroom, red peppers, artichoke, olives, red onion. We asked for no olives. However there was also no spinach or artichokes 😒Again - we love the pizza and this will not prevent us from ordering another time, we will just be sure to check the box...

I love this pizza they haven't been open regularly though due to short staff. Today I ordered sausage with green chile Very skimpy on the sausage. I also order a lavender hibiscus tea. The server gave lavender only because he states I never told him hibiscus as well. Pizza was burnt! Utter disappointment! Every other time I'd give...
