I've tired to go here twice, each time waiting at the front 5-10 minutes to even be acknowledged by the staff. Once or twice in my patient attempts, I was told "we'll be with you in a moment." Just as often I was instructed to move or situate myself than I was otherwise waiting. Never once was I invited to one of the many open tables.

The last time followed the usual pattern, yet now I heard a staff ask (indistinctly and with intonation that wasn't clearly meant for me) "how many?" after requiring some awkward gestures on my part to clarify that it was me being addressed, I said "Just me!"

"We'll be with you in a moment." Now having lost 20 minutes of my life at this place to just be told to keep waiting at the door, I decided there were other places to spend my money, along with my time.

Having had ample time to peruse the menu, I can't say I was upset to be missing out on much - mostly cheap bird that I can't but imagine is lazily prepared, if prepared at all and not just microwaved.

But still, it would've been nice to have been surprised and find a place in town that serves a competent sandwich, even if I'd have to make some burdensome plans to be idle to at least half-an-hour on a low-traffic time. If my curiosity (and patience) get's the better of me, and I end up finding it's the best turkey melt I've had this side of divide, then I'm still not returning to here give a better review, however. One-time first chances and all, and this...

The food is okay nothing great. But whay really got me was the service. These people are extremely rude. I first tried to order online using the link from their website. I received a confirmation email and then another email saying it was canceled and to call the store. I called the store and the person on the phone said she didn't know what I was talking about, she didn't see my order and they use menufy. I told her I just used the link from their website. I placed my order on the phone using the menu from their website ordering "2 Eggs with 2 Slices Bacon Breakfast" and added another bagel. When I got there they asked what I ordered and I told them and they said no I didn't order pancakes, and I said nothing about pancakes on the phone. I told them I said exactly what you have it listed as on the menu. They argued with me and told me I ordered wrong. I asked to speak to the manager, because 1 my online order was cancelled and I think their link is wrong, 2 because why are they arguing with me about my order rather than making it and renaming it the selection on their menu. They told me there was no manager to speak to. I wouldn't have been upset if the response was "oh okay you are going to have to wait because I didn't realize it was the breakfast with the pancakes. Let me ring you up while you wait". Instead they just tried to tell me how I need to order differently and I ordered wrong, even though I used the verbiage...

Today I was so excited to get and get my breakfast at the deli...I even waited to eat and was really hungary by the I got to the restaurant... I have always had a great experience with fantastic food ...but not today! I ordered some eggs ...pancakes..hashbrowns and l asked for a onion bagel...I never get my bagel toasted and also I was never asked When I got my food I noticed my bagel was toasted and asked the waitress for untoasted bagel...in response she said she asked me if I wanted it toasted...not true..never asked me! The waitress walked away and sarcastically very loudly said"MY GOD!!!" When she passed by my table a few times as I was waiting for another bagel...I said I could just leave the whole thing and she said it's coming... The waitress handed the bagel finally to me and walked away making another loud sarcastic sound! I walked away from the table went to the back trying to explain and they asked me to leave and sarcastically said"see you next time!" This is unacceptable behavior!!! I waitressed before I went back to college for 17 years and never once treated someone like that! I have been there many times before... I live in albuquerque and make this a destination stop...never again So sad and rude that someone who is waitressing can think she can get away with an attitude like this AND THINK THAT THIS ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR! Why make me eat something I don't like and...

A forever gem and a staple in Santa Fe! This restaurant is quirky, warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly and wonderful at what they do, they will make you feel at home the moment you walk in. I love the NYC fused with Southwestern vibes, great for all ages and group sizes. Now onto what you are here for; the delectable food with the best prices in town! I am a vegetarian and have tried everything veggie on the menu. The chef is very accommodating to your dietary needs, whether vegan, vegetarian or gluten free. The servers and counter staff will gladly recommend dishes to suit your tastes. The challah bread French toast, Santa Fe hash browns, Tofu Scrambler and classic Huevos Rancheros are some of my favorites to name a few. Great portions and thoughtfully cooked and flavored! My most recent order was a veggie burger, but I wanted to make it a little different and decided to order it on a bagel with loaded veggies like sautéed mushrooms, peppers, and sauerkraut. I added cheese but can be easily made to be vegan, or you can add meat if you fancy that, or substitute the regular bagel for a gluten free one. My bagel veggie burger was huge 😋 ! I love NY Deli, great for all diets, and it’s not the typical boring food most delis and restaurants serve to vegetarians and vegans.

Great service and good coffee and a really pleasant atmosphere. I love the interior design - the warm colors, the interesting artwork - which is probably why I keep going back despite the blandest, barely cooked omelettes they serve at breakfast/brunch. Seriously, it has to take special care to deliver this level of awfulness in a dish. The eggs have no flavor (be prepared to dump half your salt and pepper shakes on them), and the veggies inside the omelettes are raw and again with zero flavor. The first time I had one, I thought the cook was having a bad day. The second time I realized he doesn’t know how to cook. The third time I had a bagel. Hard to mess that up.

After a brief trip, I drove into Santa Fe and decided to have lunch at the New York Deli on Cerrillos Road. Initially, the waitress offered me a seat inside, but as it was quite warm, I chose to eat in their outdoor area. My lunch arrived promptly. The coleslaw was excellent – not too watery, with a pleasant tang that paired well with my sandwich. The Reuben on rye was outstanding, featuring perfectly prepared corned beef and fresh, crisp condiments, including the pickle. Overall, it was a great dining experience offered at a reasonable price.
