Joe's Tequila Bar offers a dining experience that effortlessly blends delicious food with a beautiful ambiance. We recently enjoyed a delightful lunch in their outdoor dining area, which is not only charming but also perfectly captures the relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere of the place. Surrounded by lush greenery and tasteful décor, it was easy to feel completely at ease while we sipped on what can only be described as some of the best margaritas we’ve ever had. The cocktails here are truly to die for, expertly crafted with the perfect balance of flavor and strength. The food at Joe’s Tequila Bar is equally impressive. We started with the guacamole, which was fresh, creamy, and perfectly seasoned—an ideal companion to the margaritas. The gazpacho was a refreshing and flavorful treat, showcasing a well-balanced blend of ingredients that made it a standout dish. The salad we ordered was vibrant and full of fresh, crisp vegetables, making for a satisfying and healthy option. Every bite was delicious, and it was clear that great care and attention to detail were put into each dish. As we were leaving, a fellow diner asked how our meal was, and to our surprise, that person turned out to be Joe, the owner. He was genuinely interested in our experience and made sure we were well taken care of. Joe is a very nice gentleman, and his presence adds a personal touch to the already warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s evident that he takes great pride in his establishment, and this passion shines through in every aspect of the dining experience. Overall, Joe's Tequila Bar is a must-visit for anyone in the area. Whether you're there for the mouthwatering margaritas, the delicious food, or simply to enjoy the lovely outdoor setting, you're in for a treat. The combination of excellent service, a friendly owner, and top-notch food makes it a place we’ll definitely return to.

Dear distinguished guests, Allow me to draw your attention to the charming Joe's Tequila Bar inside of the Alameda Inn Hotel, located in the idyllic mountain village of Santa Fe. This establishment offers a truly authentic and cozy atmosphere, ideal for savoring exquisite Mexican cuisine and indulging in a refreshing tequila-based beverage. Among the exquisite dishes that grace the menu, one cannot help but mention the outstanding nachos. These delicacies are generously portioned and adorned with all of your favorite toppings, including succulent carne asada, for a mere $5 extra. Your palate is sure to be pleased and your hunger appeased. What makes Joe's Tequila Bar all the more alluring is its prime location in Santa Fe's bustling tourist district. Its proximity to the Inn at the Alameda makes it a must-visit destination for guests from all corners of the globe. Whether you seek a convivial evening with friends or a relaxed dinner with loved ones, Joe's Tequila Bar caters to your every need. Its tantalizing Mexican fare and superior tequila selection are sure to satisfy and delight. I implore you to pay a visit and experience it for yourself - you shan't be disappointed! For a truly divine dessert experience, may I suggest the Ibarra Chocolate Pot de Crème. This $8 slice of heaven is a literal melting pot of exquisite chocolate flavor that will transport you into another dimension. Your mind will numb as your brain struggles to process the premium quality of the Ibarra chocolate used in this dessert, matched only by the skillful craftsmanship of its pot de crème, which boasts a light, airy texture and a well-balanced sweetness that leaves you feeling fully satisfied. One bite is all it takes to realize that this dessert is a symphony of flavors that lingers long after the final spoonful. I cannot recommend it enough.

Category: Fine Food/Cocktail Bar There are many restaurants with walled courtyards in Santa Fe. This one, attached to the Inn on the Alameda Hotel, is one of the best, and it's dog friendly. The courtyard is naturally shaded by old trees, with big umbrellas to fill the gaps. Heaters stand ready for cooler days and nights. The high adobe walls make this a secret garden of sorts, with lush greenery, brick floor, and teak tables. Of course the cocktail list is tequila-centric, offering margaritas and specialty cocktails. There are a few by-the-glass or by-the-bottle wine choices, and some beers, but agave is the star here. The menu offers "Pan American Flavors Spanning New Mexico to Argentina", including shareables like ceviche (generous and delicious), quesadillas, tacos, and enchiladas, and mains like flat iron steak and a selection of burgers. The interior 6-seat bar and viga-ceilinged, sky-lit dining room also has a great feel, but if the weather is good you will want to sit outside. Either outside or inside is a great place to be, and we thoroughly enjoyed drinks and snacks in the secret garden. YouTube's Chef's Apprentice

While staying at the Inn on the Alameda, we decided to try the restaurant/bar in the hotel. While checking in we saw the nice outdoor seating area with string lights and shaded tables. Paired with the perfect weather, it looked like the place to enjoy margaritas and food. We walked up to the front and were greeted by a man who introduced himself as Joe. (assuming it was The Joe of Joe's Tequila Bar) We asked if there was a table available outside and he replied "I don't know, go look" as he pointed in the direction of the patio. Maybe Joe had too much tequila himself because I've never experienced an introduction from a proprietor of a restaurant telling guests to go find a table somewhere if you want it. The service was slow, not the fault of the waiters as ours apologized for the delay saying there were only two waiters on duty that night. We ordered margaritas (second choice because they were out of the signature specialty) and some food. I noticed Joe walking around talking to guests at their tables but he never came over to ours. We enjoyed our drinks and meals, tipped the waiter and left to walk around the town square. We visit Santa Fe a few times a year and will not be returning to Joe's Tequila Bar. There are nicer establishments close by that will gladly seat us without...
