Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Santa Fe

I’ve eaten at many Long John silvers locations in my life. It was a tradition of my families as a kid where we would go get “fish and chips” and of course as I became an adult this was still a fav place to eat. They got more rare to find so I would eat there at any opportunity. I have to say this location served the best fish I have EVER had. It was perfectly crunchy, hot and very fresh. These people make an amazing effort to make sure the food they serve you is fresh!!! My order was ready as soon as I was done ordering it. I paid and it was ready right then and there so I was surprised at how good the fish was. I live in El Rito and I’m more than willing to come out here just to eat here. It was that good. A lot of other locations the fish was hard and stale and you can tell it had been sitting under a heat lamp for god only knows how many hours. They were very short staffed, only three employees in the store, they're servicing several people at a time. The young man in the front taking orders and taking payments was very professional and courteous to each and every customer, and the two gentlemen in the kitchen were working very fast and all food that was served hot and , not one food item was cold, overcooked, or undercooked. If any member of corporate is reading this review those men deserve a raise for outstanding and phenomenal services to customers and the company!! They're all three an asset to your corporation!!! We were not familiar with the menu as it had been nearly a decade since we had even seen a Long John Silvers restaurant, much less eaten at one. The gentleman that took our order was very patient with us and took the time to help us order exactly what we wanted. Great customer service. Our food was ready very very fast. It was being handed to us before we got our cups filled at the soda fountain machine. Surprisingly, the food was still pretty good considering that it had been precooked and was sitting in a food warming station waiting to be ordered.
