I visited in December and tried a Bow and Arrow IPA which is one of my favorites. It tasted very strange like it was extremely stale. I visited again this weekend. Out of caution, I asked for a taster, it was just as bad as December. I switched to a Marble Desert Fog. It came out a dark brownish color. I asked the bartender if he was sure it was a Desert Fog, and he said it was. It tasted terrible! like old feet. The only explanation I could think of is that they are not selling a lot, and the beer in the kegs must be extremely stale. A group came in right before me and had a couple of flights. From the look on their faces, I would guess their beers were also terrible. They left right away. It's a real shame. I had very high hopes for Paxton's. There is nothing else like it in Santa Fe. My daughter had a blueberry mojito. She said it was one of the best she ever had. The bartender was also very nice. It is a real shame about the beer. I'm sure Bow and Arrow and Marble would be horrified by what was being poured with their name on it. I hope...
   Read moreI can not stress enough that whatever reason you have for going here, you would be better off going to another nearby bar that provides that similar thing but better. They can order a pizza for you from next door, just eat next door instead. Il Vicino next door has cheaper beer, only a smaller selection. Cowgirl has cheaper beer, similar selection and better decor. Boxcar has cheaper beer and is a better place to watch sports.
