My friend and I love making trips to the outlet malls in Santa Fe, and Sweet Santa Fe is always a delightful stop! We usually take a charming little trail that leads right to the mall in the mornings, which adds a peaceful touch to our visit. The view of the mall is lovely, and itâs the perfect spot to enjoy the surroundings. It's a bit of a bummer to see so many empty storefronts thoughâit feels like a missed opportunity to bring more energy to the area.
That said, the small cafĂŠ is a real gem. For anyone whoâs a âcoffee firstâ type, itâs the perfect little escape. The coffee is always spot-on, and the food is definitely worth mentioning. The charcuterie board is beautifully put together with a nice variety of flavors, and their sandwiches are always fresh and satisfying. On sunny Santa Fe days, the ice cream is just the cherry on topâcool, refreshing, and a great treat to round out the visit.
When it comes to the staff, the service is quick and friendly, but itâs not the kind of experience that leaves you telling all your friends. The owner can be a little pushy about getting your order in and out, and itâs rare to see the same face twice, as most of the staff are new. Still, they keep things moving, and the atmosphere is casual and easygoing.
All in all, while thereâs room for a little polish, the cafĂŠ, the trail leading there, and the tasty food still make it a lovely spot to visit. Perfect for a morning getaway or a sunny...
Read moreThe shop seemed like it would be nice and had a good unique variety of sweets but the prices are a bit much. That being said the product is only half the experience. The customer service my Mom and I received was very discourteous. We stopped in to grab a bite before her eye appointment, we entered and noticed a lady (Iâm assuming the owner) making some chocolates and another moping behind the counter neither of which acknowledged us. We looked at the food/treats on display figuring out what we wanted and waited to see if someone would offer some assistance, I finally ask the lady making chocolate for some help to which she muttered something I didnât hear then continued with what she was doing. She finally took our order, we sat to eat & she went back to her task. Then another customer walks in, a white lady (my mom and I are Spanish) she gets greeted warmly and after she orders gets a sincere thanks and asked to please come back again. I couldnât help but notice the complete difference in how we were treated. That makes me so disappointed I hope the owner sees this and learns to treat ALL of her customers the same no matter of race or otherwise. I get the feeling this isnât just a...
Read moreATTENTION EVERYONE!!! If you are reading this, you absolutely need to stop at this place! The selection is amazing! From breakfast, to quiche, to award winning truffles! My partner and I stopped here while charging the Tesla. He ate the cherry and apple turnover. He is the food critic of the two of us and he said it was amazing! I had the spinach and mushroom quiche. It had green chili in it as well as 3x the cheese. We both took a bite of the almond pistachio muffin. Letâs just say he went into a food coma for about 5 seconds. All the flavors we tasted worked so well and they were absolutely delicious! I didnât get her name but one of the owners we met was amazing, extremely sweet and so helpful! Not to mention the prices. The price of everything was well worth it and reasonably priced! I think we are so use to spending so much in Albuquerque that we were a little taken back with the prices especially for the quality! We will definitely be back if we are in the area! Giving this place:...
