Khalil greeted us despite being busy with multiple customers, making us feel welcome right away. He handled each customer with warmth and friendliness, making sure everyone was treated fairly and quickly. When it was our turn, he gave us his full attention despite greeting new customers as they walked in. My wife and I each bought what we wanted and were extremely satisfied with the price that we agreed to pay. Today I proudly wore the large turquoise bolo tie I bought from Khalil last night, receiving many compliments throughout the day (my amateur photo does not do it justice)! Definitely worth our time to step into the shop whilst waiting for seating at The Shed restaurant. By the time we left Khalil’s shop, we felt like family and wish Khalil’s children continued success in their education.

Kokopelli Gallery was my absolute favorite experience around Santa Fe Plaza. Catherine was knowledgeable & had a sense of warmth & comfort in our interactions. There was a clear respect for the pieces, the artists, & the cultures. No one in my group could leave without being called to a piece of artistry that beckoned. We each are going home with such special treasures & memories. Shipping is also available at a great rate for those larger pottery pieces that you just can't live without. Hopi Native made necklace Bracelet by Navajo Native artist Yazzie Edison Pictures do not do them justice

Khalil was extremely helpful. He is very professional yet friendly and personable. He knows his products and how to share his enthusiasm with his customers. The store is very well stocked with a wide variety of jewelry, collectibles, and Southwest regional merchandise. He has both modern and pawned antique and vintage gold, silver, and jewels. My wife bought a classic heishi shell necklace at a nice price -- not free, but a good, fair value.

I like the stores that are not right in the center, that are a little smaller and perhaps a little hidden. I like the stores that don't just stand on their own, but where you get the impression that all the store owners are working together to create an overall impression. I like the stores where I am welcomed as a customer.

All of this applies to Kokopelli Gallery. It's not right in the center, but it's not really a detour either. It is located in an ensemble of beautiful adobe houses with courtyards, one of which invites you to linger and another to eat.

Looking around the store, I was first approached by an older gentleman who was actually busy with his own things and asked what I wanted - it turned out to be the owner of the store. He asked his employee Daniela to look after me, which she did in a competent and extremely friendly manner. I felt very welcome. She also tried to solve my technical problems at the end with her commitment and managed to do so. Thank you very much, Daniela. I will be happy to come back on my next visit...

Before leaving Santa Fe, I went online and found the Kokopelli Gallery. Just by viewing online, I found a few things that I wanted to buy. After arriving and meeting Caesar, we knew we were in the right place. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the artisans in his area. I purchased some metal art for my walls at home and we are very happy with our purchases! I also bought the cutest turquoise earrings!!! I really enjoyed hearing about Caesar's grandfather who started the store and about how Caesar used to run around there when he was a child. Loved that!! He made us feel right at home as soon as we entered the store. It was a very...
