My fiancé picked this restaurant to celebrate the night of our engagement. Andrea, the owner, called him personally to confirm the reservation. Our table was set up already with champagne ordered by my brother in law. The staff was very excited about the engagement and they were all so friendly and attentive to us. Our waiter filled up our drinks all the time and the appetizers and food were brought out quickly. The food was so delicious. They have a seasonal menu with a lot of options. We ordered cream of asparagus as the appetizers and gnocchi and lasagna, both with bolognese, as the entrees. My fiance's family is Italian and he said the food was very authentic! Andrea, the owner, personally visited our table twice and congratulated us on the engagement. As a gift for the engagement, he gave us a free bottle of wine and two free desserts: a tiramisu and a coffee flavored dessert with a name I can't recall. They were both delicious! Overall, it was an amazing restaurant with great food and a great atmosphere. My fiancé did a great job picking this restaurant for our...
Read moreIm writing this review in hopes the owners can better educate their staff on the importance of food allergies. While the food was delicious we specifically told our waiter of my allergies, then reiterated again when we ordered, and then checked again when the food came. One of the appetizers looked like it had something I was allergic to so I asked the waiter again to check with the chef. He never comes back so my friend goes and finds him to please ask so I can eat or not. I bit into another appetizer when he comes back and says nothing here has nuts except and points to the appetizer I just tried. Luckily I’m not anaphylactic but now I’ve been sick all night. The waiter was so nonchalant never apologized and just said oh it only had a little bit of nuts not a lot. I’m sharing this story so others with food allergies can be extra diligent here and the owners can better train the staff. Food allergies aren’t just an aversion someone could die if not...
Read moreOur first experience this past Saturday. First the good: Beautiful wine selection and delicious rice croquettes. Waiter was ok, but not memorable. Now the not so good: Pasta MUST be cooked in salted water. Totally lacked taste but was cooked perfectly Al dente. I had the Caesar salad with anchovies. Dressing was bland and left partially eaten accordingly. No garlic or any other seasoning. Entrée chosen was the seafood in linguine. Again there was no salt in the pasta and the sauce did not have any seasoning whatsoever on it. There was no taste of garlic, basil, parsley, wine, etc. The seafood was cooked perfectly, however, again, and very little taste. Most of the dinner (pasta) was left untouched. We waited almost two years to come to the restaurant (Covid) Sorry to say we left...
