Pretty apparent the bartender on duty tonight didn't want to be there.

I sat down at about 9:00 and she was short with me from the beginning. Her first words were our last call is at halftime in about 5 minutes.

I knew the half wasn't for another 30 or 40 and they're closing time says 11 but I said okay and ordered a drink.

Thinking I might have time for another one while waiting.

Instead when brought me my first drink she brought me the check at the same time. So I paid it.

While I'm drinking my drink a group of four younger guys come up to order.

She's even shorter with them and demands an ID from one of them. The guy happily hands over his ID and she hammers him with a bunch of questions at a speed that would throw anybody off.

He didn't get the specifics of his address and she immediately tried refusing service.

He tried explaining he's had the ID for years but hasn't lived that the address on the ID for over 3 years.

She cuts him off makes a huff about it and says she's going to have to talk to her manager. The manager comes over acts like it's a big deal and says he'll let it slide this time.

The group of guys weren't confrontational at any point in time and even after the manager gave his approval the bartender still had an attitude.

The gentleman in question then politely said we could go somewhere else if it's too big of a deal.

The bartender in a very confrontational way started going over policy to the point that the group just left to go somewhere else.

As a bystander it made me feel pretty awkward. If you have an issue with underage drinkers get an ID scanner.

I don't know what the purpose is of harassing a customer who's of age or why she gave me an attitude from the beginning.

Came on a Monday night for dinner with my family and brought my dog. Our server Meghan was wonderful, unfortunately this bartender ruined my and my families night. He came from the bar to our table (which we were sitting outside) to tell us to control our dog, that he has been barking for 45min which was a lie. Then a second time he yelled at us from the bar AGAIN to tell our dog to stop barking. I’ve never felt so disrespected at a restaurant for bringing my dog, this so call “bartender” poured me a glass of Brut that had no bubbles (TWICE) and Meghan had to ask him to open a new bottle. My mom orders a glass of Merlot and tastes like vinegar, so where are you getting this so call bartender from?? Meaning this bartender doesn’t check his wine and pours whatever it’s in front of him. Again our server was amazing but this bartender ruined our night with his attitude. YELLING AT US, FROM THE BAR??!!! Lifting his hands and telling us to stop?!! I’m still shock.
