If you're looking for a unique and delicious dessert experience, look no further than Ephesus Turkish Delights on St. Armands Circle in Sarasota. This place has an amazing variety of authentic Turkish desserts that are simply out of this world!

From the moment you walk in, you'll be greeted with a mouth-watering display of sweets that are sure to make your taste buds dance. Everything is fresh and made with the highest quality ingredients, so you know you're getting the real deal.

One of the best things about Ephesus is the variety. There are so many different types of desserts to choose from, you'll be hard pressed to pick just one. Whether you're in the mood for baklava, Turkish delight, or something a little more exotic, you're sure to find it here.

Of course, with so many amazing treats on offer, it's easy to get carried away. The prices can be a bit steep, but trust me when I say it's worth it. You'll want to try everything, and you won't be disappointed.

In addition to the desserts, Ephesus also has a selection of packaged Turkish coffees and teas for sale. These make great gifts, or you can just take some home to enjoy yourself.

Ephesus Turkish Delights is a must-visit if you're in the Sarasota area. The desserts are amazing, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend stopping by and treating yourself to...

This place is grossly overpriced and dishonest in its business practices. You can get a big box of Turkish lokum, aka Turkish delights, at TJ Max or Home Goods for only 4 dollars. This business will sell it to you for over $20, and if you want sweets other than lokum you’ll spend even more. When I visited, the owner used a scale that either malfunctioned or had low batteries and didn’t record the weight accurately. I tried talking to the owner, and his distasteful solution was to give me 7 Turkish delight pieces, which didn’t make up for the weight difference. When I disputed the purchase, he lied to the bank saying I had never contacted him. Make sure your purchase is weighed accurately if you end up purchasing here, because once you complete the transaction, the bank can’t do anything since receipts are the only document they’ll consider for an in-person transaction, no matter what other proof you have.

In response to the business... Yes, I do find the same lokum freshness and taste at TJ Maxx, but people can judge that for themselves. And its laughable that the huge price is for the "atmosphere". You're not a restaurant, there is no atmosphere. You're just a shop. Also, no one is debating that your prices...

Stepping into Ephesus Mediterranean Delight was like embarking on a flavorful journey through the heart of Turkey. Our host, Umit, greeted us warmly, embodying the true spirit of hospitality. His passion for his work was reflected in the meticulously crafted Turkish coffee and delectable sweets he served.

The coffee, served in exquisite cups and saucers, was a perfect blend of boldness and sweetness with subtle notes of cocoa and fig. The baklava was a heavenly delight, a harmonious fusion of flaky pastry and rich, honeyed flavor. The pistachio Turkish delight, soft and powdery, was a burst of Mediterranean spirit in every bite.

Each morsel was a testament to Umit's love for these traditional delicacies and his joy in sharing them. Our visit to Ephesus Mediterranean Delight wasn't just a meal but a cherished memory that we will revisit in our hearts and minds. This place is more than a bakery; it's a sanctuary of flavors, hospitality, and warmth, worth exploring for those seeking a truly unique...

This is a "can't miss" stop on your visit to St. Armand's Circle. A hidden gem just off the main circle to the north.Their Turkish delight is exquisitely amaaaaaazingly delicious. (They offer free samples, as well.) They have some 20 varieties of fresh, traditionally made Turkish delight (sit and enjoy inside or outside at their tables, or buy a box to take home), and the place is beautiful and welcoming, a peaceful respite from the bustle of St Armand's Circle. They also sell traditional Turkish teapots and coffee pots. They serve Turkish coffee and American coffee as well as tea, perfect complements for their Turkish delight and also their baklava. Ephesus is named after the world heritage site, perhaps the most famous and well preserved ancient city in Turkey. And you will receive the warmth of the owners' Turkish hospitality from the moment you walk in the door. I was there yesterday for the first time, and it certainly won't be the last.

I dare you to walk past the window of Ephesus Mediterranean Delights and not drool.....have your eyes go wide .......a walk through the door. I just happened to be strolling through Sarasota after making a delivery to another one of Sarasota's wonderful stores. My eyes widened at the beautiful colors behind some large sparkling glass windows. TURKISH DELIGHT !! I said to myself......no way. Yes a new store full of Turkish goodies is now in Sarasota. The store was very clean and nicely decorated. The person ( owner ) that waited on me was also a delight. He was very nice and accommodating. I was able to try some of the amazing offerings the store had. Everything I tried was scrumptious and beautifully prepared. I picked up some pieces to create a special charcuterie board. I will definitely be back.
