I had been to Ringling Pizza (the previous restaurant) many times and always had great food. We just ordered two pasta dishes (chicken Alfredo) and extra garlic knots. It came to over $40.00. I thought that was a little high, but thinking if it was as good as it used to be it would be worth it. I placed a to go order and brought it home. When opening the Pasta, I noticed that the sauce was very dark and not the normal color. We both tried the food and thought it was possibly the worst Alfredo sauce we have ever had. It actually tasted more like gravy you would have with Biscuits and gravy. We tried a few bites and just couldn’t eat it. Normally, I would not call and complain, but because it was rather pricey I called. The lady that answered the phone was very sweet and apologized and said that she would have to get the owner on the phone. After telling him that we were both not happy with our food, he proceeded to question me on what ingredients were of normal chicken Alfredo. I told him that I was not sure what all it had in it but knew it was not what I was tasting. He then told me that they changed the recipe recently to gluten free and that I should add cheese and try it again. I told him that I had already done that in hopes that it would help make it better but that was not the point. He then went on to tell me that it sounded more like I was calling because it was a money issue and that I couldn’t basically afford the dinner. He told me that he would not refund me or give me something new in return. He said that he was not responsible for a dinner after it left his restaurant and that I could have changed the food. I assured him that was not the case and that I was hungry and wanted something I could actually eat and that it had nothing to do with the money I spent on the food. After about 5 min of back and forth and him telling me (literally) that I didn’t know what Alfredo sauce should taste like and that he would not change out the food or refund me. I told him that was horrible customer service and that I would call American Express and dispute the charge and would be forced to leave a negative review, he finally said he would cancel the charge but only because he didn’t want me to leave a bad review! I am only leaving this review because of his poor customer service and the way that he spoke to me and told me that I was only complaining because he felt it was a money issue, of me not being able to afford it. Read moreI went for the first time when I was in Sarasota looking for a new pizza place to try. I got two slices of pizza and the manager seemed nice when talking to him. This pizza was decent, in my opinion, but satisfactory for the price I paid in comparison to other small pizza joints.
Two days later I get a email notification that my total updated with a tip that I did not add or authorize. Please note, I paid with my phone on a tap and was not even given the option to tip with the payment system they use. I immediately called store owner and let him know what happened, however, he informed me he was too busy to handle my concern. He stated he would call me later before disconnecting the call but did so without taking my name or number down. Very disappointing service and extremely unprofessional communication when it comes to money being STOLEN out of an hard working persons account.
He did not call in the timeframe given, so I called back. He explained it must’ve happened due to a mistake with 5 orders that had come in within a 20 minute timeframe. He explained that one of the crew members had most likely updated the tip of another order and accidentally messed with mine. He told me the payment system had been existing for only 6 months and it was the first time he had seen this happen in 3 years. Multiple times he told me he could not fix it and I continued to push for my money back, as again, I had not authorized that tip nor was prompted to give one. He told me it was too late to change it the transaction (2 days later mind you) so I continued to push for my money. He then told me he could send the money via Zelle and did so. I appreciate his effort to give me my money back, so I will be going back next time I am in town. If prompted, he will get a tip for sure because he sent that out of his personal account to cover the mistake of his team, that’s a solid man if you ask me.
My word of advice, be weary when eating and paying here. The pizza is decent for the price, but you never know if I could be you just on another busy day.

The waiter who has hair totally covering his face and walks around with an air pod in his ear (even while waiting on your table) was SO rude! I asked for ravioli with no cheese on top. I specified that I wanted just raviolis and sauce. He literally yells at me that it’s raviolis they come with cheese! It’s cheese and raviolis and sauce!!! What do you want?! I explain how some places bake the ravioli with cheese on top and I don’t want that. He walks away frustrated after taking the rest of the orders and the owner came out. He tells me the waiter was confused and I reiterate what I want. The server comes back and says “did you talk to the owner and tell him what you want? Well how am I supposed to ring that in?!” Idk! I don’t work there! The raviolis came out way ahead of the pizza the rest of my party ordered… They. Were. AWFUL! It was literally just pasta, no filling. I’m not sure if the filling came out while it cooked or what… but it was just flat pasta. Tasteless and flat. Do not recommend the raviolis. The pizza came out as a white pizza just like the two people ordered. They wanted me to try it, I said I only like pizza with sauce (who doesn’t?! LOL!) so they asked for a little side of sauce and the server says YOU ORDERED A WHITE PIZZA?! It comes with no sauce?! Why would you order a white pizza if you were going to order sauce?! He throws his hands up and says okay… sauce… takes a good 5 mins to get it. The pizza was okay, I can’t judge it because I don’t like white pizza. We had to get our own silverware and he never asked if we wanted another drink. He was absolutely awful. Worst service I have ever had. Wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to come here.
