Shamrock Pub — Restaurant in Sarasota

If i could rate negative stars I would. Went in on Saturday the 15th of december sat down at the bar in front of the atm machine. Finished my drink and proceeded to go to the atm to get more money for another drink. Did the customary flip your seat onto the bar move to claim i was still sitting there. Got my money and there was a dude in my seat with the same bartender that served me and watched me walk right behind the seat to the atm to get money. She seemed to have known the guy and although she noticed me behind him trying to claim my seat and order another drink she instead decided to serve him instead of me in the seat I was sitting in. Sounds super petty but it was the only seat left in the bar. I ended up just leaving...

After being more or less unable to find a good soccer bar in bradenton, I decided (at both a a friend's and Reddit's suggestion) to try Shamrocks. Low and behold, it was exactly what I was looking for. The 'rivalries' are good-hearted in nature (the bar is frequented by TB Rowdies fans, whereas I'm a OCSC fan) and everyone has a great time. Additionally the owner, Derek, is both humble and extremely nice (and will always insist on putting Orlando on at least one TV, regardless of the rest of the crowds opinion). I'm excited to frequent Shamrocks much more in the future.

Friendly neighborhood pub with excellent craft beer on draft and in bottles and a small selection of wine. No food, but you can bring in your own or allow for delivery from nearby restaurants. Check the calendar for sporting events and other block parties. The St. Patrick's Day block party is one of the best. Food trucks are known to be there for special events and other activities that are family friendly. We've been going recently to watch the World Cup matches and there are lots of raffles and giveaways. Nice comraderie between...
