We drove 40 minutes to come eat Long John Silver’s, one of my husbands favorite fast food restaurants for his birthday dinner. I will never return to this location ever again. First off we walked in waited 10 minutes employees and manager just looked us every now and again not even acknowledging we were there, I finally spoke up and asked this young girl if there was anyone taking orders (a gentleman who was waiting for his food told us not to waste our time because he had been waiting over 20 minutes for his food and was about to have to leave because he was on lunch for work). This young girl snapped at me with an attitude saying there was only 4 of them working there I continued to say I understand that but a simple “we will be right with you” instead of blatantly ignoring us with poor attitudes acting like it was an inconvenience to do their job they get paid for… she responds with “mkay what do you want” I would have said some choice words and left if my husband didn’t have his heart set on the food. She continues to make rude comments saying “if you don’t like it you can leave” as she was preparing food.. should have responded if you can’t have a decent attitude maybe you should quit!!! Then the gentleman we spoke to who told us basically not to waste our time goes up and asks how much longer his food was going to take because he was out of time for his lunch break and she grabs his food and slams his tray on the counter and when he said something to her about it and her poor attitude she snapped back at him. I’m sorry I do not care if you are short staffed or having a bad day to be that level of disrespectful is unnecessary. Also watching them handle food with NO GLOVES is also a sanitation issue and another girl was working in a spaghetti strap tank top, nobody had hair nets handling the food. I ask for manager she comes over drive thru speaker, ( cause they still haven’t unlocked the doors) scream at me not her FN fault they ain’t got enough workers! WELL IT ISN'T THE CUSTOMERS FAULT, we the ones spending the money to keep them open, when the rest of the world is going bankrupt! I HAVE IT ALL ON RECORDING! Read moreOrdered inside. Service was slow. Gentleman behind us ordered after us, waited on his food while sitting down, got his food then ate all his diner before our food even came out. Then there was no silverware. We asked the girl that gave us our order for some and she very rudely said over there. When I explained that we already looked and there was none she said there was ( like we hadn’t looked) and gave us an attitude. She reached under the counter and gave us the forks. Later she checked the silverware area and surprise, surprise there wasn’t any! Food was ok. Then when we used the restrooms they were atrocious. I got the irony from the sign on the wall on how they were checking the bathrooms every half hour for cleanliness. Yeah right, every shift maybe !
