Kudos to the chef-owner and his wife for this gem in this little Wyoming town! What a find. I cannot say enough kind words, truly! We were greeted warmly when we arrived, and promptly seated. (We did make reservations). Water glasses were filled right away. Our server, Rachel, then introduced herself and explained the drink menu and that night's special. We chose an appetizer of garlic cheese bread, which we knew we would want to go with our meals. We almost demolished it beforehand! Hubby chose the wedge salad, which we shared; perfect. One thing we truly appreciated is how Rachel paced our meal and experience. We had placed our entrée order, but she made sure we were ready for each course (how many times have we all had our meal placed before us before we had even finished our salads, or just tried to linger over a cocktail?) I had the spaghetti Bolognese and hubby ordered lasagna. Excellent!! So much flavor and expertly presented. All the while, Rachel and other staff made sure we had anything we needed, and cleared plates, refilled water glasses. As the evening progressed, they got busier...but we never once felt rushed; in fact, Rachel told us to take our time, enjoy our wine. We were too full to enjoy dessert, but appreciated that there were options for "two-bite" desserts! Perfect for that little sweet bite. We travel in our RV full-time and have been in nearly every state so far. This restaurant is, hands down, one of the top 5 we have encountered anywhere. If you are in the area, do not miss out! And, ask for Rachel! From start to finish, this place is...
Read morePlease know I am writing this review in an unbiased manner. I'm truly sharing my experience and opinion about the food and service that I experienced on Friday June 28, 2024. I was so excited to eat here with my 2 kids 16 and 10. We made reservations a week prior. We are from Ft. Collins, CO. We started with 4 appetizers...Focaccia - which was warm, soft and tasty. Caprese - not very flavorful. Mushroom caps with Tallegio which was tasty with the Tallegio and Bruschetta Roma which was spot on, super tasty. My favorite of all the appetizers and entrees that we ordered. The 3 entrees we ordered were Gamberetti Carciofi - shrimp cooked to perfection, the base was chalky what saved the entree was the grilled lemon provided to enhance the flavor. Chicken Parmesan - average at best, just a very simple base and the chicken was good and the tomato sauce had very little happening. Chicken Marsala - best part of the dish were the mushrooms, the chicken was overcooked/chewy and the base left a not so tasty aftermath on my gums and teeth. My ten year old ranks places we eat at and he gave you a 4 out of 10. Reason...Ruth the server was a rock star, she was so welcoming, enthusiastic, attentive and efficient. I must agree with my 10 year old 4 stars out of 10. Ruth was a 10 star according to my son and I absolutely...
Read moreThe first time we ate at Bella's (2018) we were camped just a block north of the restaurant and the RV Park owner suggested eating dinner there. It was just 5 pm and as we entered the place we were asked if we had a reservation. It seemed a little silly as the place was deserted, but we persevered and the maitre d' went ahead and seated us with the provision that we would probably have to be done eating by 6 pm. The dinner and the service were both excellent, and we were astonished as the place filled to capacity before we were done eating. We were so happy with the food and service we remembered that this year (2024) when we planned a trip west again we included Saratoga just so we could eat at Bella's once more. We both had different entries, and fortunately we saved the leftovers for the next night on the road. The next morning we found ourselves stranded after our truck broke down in Saratoga and had to be towed 43 miles to Rawlins for service. Overnight boon-docking on the street in town we enjoyed Bella's once again, this time reheated in the microwave and served with a small glass of red wine right there on our sidewalk camp in Rawlins, Wyoming. Now I call...
