I went in there tonight at 9:47 PM. There were two women at the counter and a young male at the counter working there. They know that I come in around This time, a couple nights a week to get a cheeseburger. The moment I walked in the door, all three of them looked at me, and the young man shook his head like “don’t tell me we have another customer that we have to serve, I wanna go home. “ Then before I had the chance to say a single word and walk 10 feet in the building, the young man shouted “we’re all out of burgers”. The other two female workers nodded their heads in agreement, and one of them said again, “no more burgers”. I asked the gentleman if I heard him correctly that they don’t have any more burgers. He said “yes, we ran out of burgers”. I don’t know, but it appeared to me that they just wanted to go home early. I hope that’s not the case. When you work for a business owner who pays you good money and you’re on schedule you’re supposed to be selling a product, and your main product is “burgers“. If there was burgers left and three of you lied and made that up, that’s the same as stealing from your employer by denying him revenue that is ready to be earned and collected for his business as a result of him paying a wage to his employees. I’m not saying that’s the case, but it just appeared that way. Regardless, you just lost a loyal customer who visited your establishment 5 times in the past 7 days because I drove 20 minutes to get there before your...
Read moreThis location is very hit or miss. We get the same order every time, cheese burger, little cheese burger and large fry. Same burger toppings every time, so that can't be the issue.
I always pre-tip 5 bucks because I've worked in the service industry. So when I'm paying 35ish for two burgers and one large fry, I hope to have somewhat of a consistent experience.
Sometimes the large fry cup isn't even full, which is pretty disappointing because over filling fries is one of the draws of the chain.
Tonight we ordered online for pickup for the first time. Using their site, not Uber eats. The burgers just went in the bag when I arrived, which was promising, but then I was told the fries would be another 8 minutes. It took about 8 or 10 minutes. After a 4 minute ride back home, I opened my burger and it was a huge disappointment. Buns was so soggy I could even hold it together. Toppings were all over the place as soon as I unwrapped it. This was around 830 on a Saturday. With only two other couples in the restaurant.
That's just one example. It's kind of 50/50 between what one expects vs completely disappointing for the money.
From now on, I think I'll have to drive to Culver's, which is way cheaper and seems to always be consistent, even with a 10 to 15 minute longer drive.
Maybe they just need to ditch the foil in favor of boxes. Or maybe they need better training at this site because again, sometimes it's great but often it feels like a huge...
