Shu Hot Pot & Korean BBQ KTV — Restaurant in Savannah

While I will always have a huge soft spot in my heart and many, many good memories at Korea Garden, this new addition to the Savannah culinary scene is needed ever since they closed down.

It has a totally updated interior (think Kabukicho vibes) and a huge menu, I mean literally huge it has so many options. Prices are reasonable at 30 bucks a person for all you can eat Korean BBQ, and for an additional $5 a person you can add hot pot.

My only constructive feedback would have been to let me know beforehand that to-go isn't an option because I wouldn't have ordered as much for my hot pot as I usually like to take my soup home and eat it later. The three of us at my table definitely wasted a lot of food and that made us feel badly. I think front loading that, while certainly not as palatable to the customer is a better option than the disappointment at the end. That said, it was a small inconvenience and what was otherwise a great experience.

Other than that the food was delicious, had a huge variety, the staff was wonderful and they even had Cass and Terra, two actual Korean beers!

Watch out for the garlic pepper sauce, it is DELICIOUS and has a zing that sneaks...

Went with a party of four and had a fantastic time. The vibe was spectacular and you can tell why it took so long for this place to reopen as it is absolutely gorgeous inside. Walking to the bathroom feels like you're going to a space station and sitting down in the main area with everyone eating and cooking together is an awesome feeling. Savannah desperately needed an establishment like this. The menu is vast and the food tastes extremely good. Many sauces and spices to choose from in terms of enhancing your palate at the free entree bar and dozens upon dozens of meat/veggie/seafood for your hotpot and BBQ needs. The bathrooms were in my parties experience well kept and comfortable and the customer service was splendid. Please get yourself a nice group of friends or family and have a great time here. Two hours of reserved all you can eat for a very fair price point of 30-35$ per person.

Due note that since this place is new and popping there are a LOT of people in here, so give your server and the kitchen some grace (not that I had to wait long at all, but I visited midday on a weekday so I'm not sure how dinner time on Saturday...

Loved our waiter Sean! Him and a small group of workers were zooming through all the tables trying to make sure each customer got a great experience! Despite not having alot of waiters all of the people working tonight did a great job with maintaing there tables! Excellent servers, food, and memories! Absolutely loved the music and that they accepted requests while also ensuring the many birthday tables got a special experience for their celebrations! Y'all try the spicy Sichuan it was AMAZING! It was a little too spicy for me but they added the bone broth to help lessen it! Such a great staff please treat them well management! Also please make a sweet and spicy broth it would be so amazing 😩💕! My only suggestion would be to replace the dishes in the main area because the past two times I went the self serve was cold after a bit but that wasn't your main food for those reading.
