I don’t understand what’s supposed to be the appeal of this sub shop. We ordered the Original Italian and the Club Supreme, mediums. This is the first time ever going to a Jersey Mike’s and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it. I guess it is supposed to be “revolutionary “ to have them cut your cold cuts on demand, but it just makes the process amazingly slow. We had a family of four ordering subs before us, with two small kids getting the premixed tuna salad and only the parents getting cold cut subs, and it still took forever. (I gotta say, the staff working here seem unmotivated and worked at sloth-speed.) Now here’s where I see the big disconnect - and I’ve never been to any other Jersey Mike’s, so don’t know if this is normal - you go out of your way to provide freshly sliced cold cuts to then turn the sub over to the toppings, which are limited veggies and condiments laying out on a counter. Drying out on a counter. The jalapeños were so dry, they looked like they’d gone through a dehydrator. Mayonnaise in an open container, with a spatula laying in it, open to get salmonella? Our subs both had plenty of meat and cheese, bread was nothing special but those veggies and condiments seriously looked questionable. I ate my sub over the next two days and didn’t get sick - hooray - and my husband ate only a bite of his and tossed it out - yuck. We keep trying these sub shops that are supposed to great, and we keep ending up going elsewhere. Will never try...
Read moreThese subs are excellent. They use fresh ingredients, and quality cuts like Boars Head. But a good product can only take you so far. The staff is nice, but they’re all young kids. It’s disorganized, chaotic, and doesn’t have good communication. I.E. call at least an hour ahead for pickup orders. I had several bad experiences when my order was overlooked, done but I was not told, etc. if they could fine tune that, I’d give them 5 stars
Update 9/21: I called in an order at 5pm, arrived at 5:45p (plenty of time) and was told they “threw away my ticket by mistake and thought they completed it”. If that was all it’s a mistake and I get it. But they kept making people’s sandwiches that were in line. And didn’t fix the problem. 15 minutes I had to remind them to put my order into the rotation. I really hate that they have a good product and my wife loves them , otherwise I would never go here
11/3 update: no answer when calling, but you can finally order online. That’s good. Pickup time said 12:33, got there and was told “we did this order already but someone must have taken it. We’ll make it now”. Bottom line.. go in the store to order, everything else is unreliable and people who order in person get their food 10x faster. Can’t wait until there’s another location...

Like several other reviewers, I had a pretty lousy experience with the wait time, having ordered an hour in advance online, showing up on time, and still having to wait almost a half hour for my order. It looked as though there were at least 3 or 4 others in the same boat, too.
The staff all appeared to be working very hard, and were very nice. One very patiently put up with a customer who was high as a kite, taking his mask off while he tried to negotiate for a free sandwich. There just seems to be something wrong with the logistics of how orders are processed and/or they may be understaffed.
I think one improvement they could make is an order tracker, like Domino's and some other chains have. That way, people could get a real-time idea of how long it will take for their order, instead of an apparently often inaccurate estimate. They could also have the option of waiting outside or in their vehicle, instead of in a small and crowded interior space.
I plan to give them another shot. I think this location has only been open for a few months, so hopefully they are still working out...
