I have never had a server as rude as the one we did tonight. Once seated it took about 20 minutes before we were acknowledged. We completely understand at that point because it was busy. Food was great and came within a descent time for being busy. During that wait for food, we had no refills even though I was out shortly after ordering. After we were done eating, we both commented how thirsty we were. We moved our glasses to the edge of the table and continued to wait. I texted the babysitter we’d be on the way since all we needed was the check. 27 minutes later I stopped another waitress and asked her to get our waitress, or our check and to go pizza. The table next to us flagged down a manager to ask for their check. He asked if we were waiting too and we said yes, for over a half hour. We watched the other waitress point and tell our waitress we were waiting. It was another 7 minutes before our waitress came with the check. I tried to hand her my debit card as she was standing there so we didn’t have to wait. She didn’t take it and said she’d be right back. When she finally ran my card she returned to the table. As she was walking away she stopped and turned around. She was standing behind one of our booths, pulled down her mask and asked, “Is there a problem?” This wasn’t asked politely. She had a very condescending tone! I simply replied, “Yes, we waited over 30 minutes to get our check and received no refills.” She replied, “Well No one told me.” Why would someone need to tell you? (And they actually did) She then proceeded to stand next to our table and loudly say to the table next to us, that called the manager, thank you for your patience. She leaned over our table and said rudely, “Sorry I didn’t do better.” I have never in my life been talked to in the tone, and matter, that she did. A simple “Hey sorry you waited” when she brought the bill would have made it right in my book. I’ve been a server for 13 years and never in my life would dream of talking to my customers like that! I have never left a bad review about any place, but now that I’m home I am still in shock. I’m regretting that...
Read moreI came in on Saturday 5-25-2024 to celebrate my graduate . This was my first time dining inside.. First off the guy that seated us seem to be irritated when we asked to be seated in another section. He pretty much was handling the tables and chairs in a manner that was not appropriate for guest to see. Now mind you it was like 12 of us, also the drink girl Ashley was also out of control. Her attitude was different from when she first came and said her name. We ordered drinks and she forgot one and instead of going off what was said she pretty much sat their and said we'll he ordered water. That is not the point we ordered two soft drinks and no matter she should not have Said anything and just went and got our soft drinks... We were not happy w Ashley degrading the girl that bring us the pizzas out. The girl clearly told us she would be right back to bring the other one. Ashley came and said she only brought one pizza. We told her what the girl said and Ashley replied that is what we have two hands for is to carry items in both. Before we left Ashley kept speaking on tip money and I felt that was so Un professional. We had a situation where she laid the bill on table in front of my son and he pulled out his card and handed it to Ashley and i say no I'm gonna pay to pass me the check. Ashley refused to hand me the bill her words to me was he gave me payment.we went back and fourth and I did tell her I was the mom and I was getting mad.. I finally got the bill to pay. Also after I paid, Ashley came back w the receipt and say I'm just trying to get a understanding that their is no tip. I say no tip on this bill you will get a cash tip. So she left and came back and ask me for a tip I say the tip is coming from the other end of table. So she clearly went to the other end of table and ask the people down there for the tip. This was not a good experience. Pizza was good but Ashley was...
Read moreI came here because less than 2 weeks ago, my Aunt (from Chicago) gave us some Giordano's chicken Fettuccine Alfredo for dinner. The sauce was thick, the chicken was plentiful and 4 people were able to eat from a tray HALF this size. So fast forward to today. My husband has been talking about that Fettuccine for DAYS so I figured I'd try the Schererville location. WRONG WRONG WRONG. Firstly, I bought a family tray and the noodles filled up half the pan. The sauce was so thin I almost thought they forgot the sauce until I tilted the pan to see some watery, thin sauce that was as thick as Skim milk. They cut up ONE chicken breast to put in the pan as well as 6 small stalks of Broccoli. The manager, Adrian was very pleasant and more than accommodating and credited me for half my meal but after 3 scoopfuls this is what I am left with. It's not his fault but better preparation is needed that actually LOOKS LIKE THEY CARE about the meal they are providing. I'm sure the cook was a nice person, but this meal in my stomach does not feel 'nice'. I wasn't going to leave a review and thought, 🤔"At least the noodles will be good" but after eating, immediately my stomach began to hurt and bubble. I've noticed that the pandemic has really hit every aspect of life particularly hard especially in the food industry. If you are reading this, take the time to cook it yourself even if you worked a 12 hr shift. If you have absolutely NO other option to eat out then please go somewhere else. Signed a Chicago Born Foodie. And P.S.- I'm almost positive that someone will reach out and respond after this review is left so here's the only option I have. Keep the $16 credit (and the apology) unless I recieve a full refund and a paid for gastric lavage to get rid of this garbage in my stomach that is triggering my acid reflux (that hasn't been triggered since I was...
