America's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Scottsdale

They have chicken, lettuce, jalapeños and other ingredients listed as a vegetarian torta on Uber Eats when in actuality the torta only has beans, avocado, and tomato not even lettuce or jalapeños. that’s a rip off. I got a soggy torta with just beans, avocado, and two tomato slices. I called the location, the person who answered by the name of Dixy was speaking in Spanish to Luis and asked him if he knew what ingredients are in the torta, I heard Luis say no. Anyways Dixy was nice enough to have me come in on a later date to have my order replaced but out of the blue I receive a call from a “manager” by the name of Tom or Terry I don’t quite remember but he was rude to say the least, he did a great job at throwing the ball at other people looking for somebody to blame (including blaming me the customer) instead of taking ownership for the error on THEIR MENU. He needs to learn how to listen and tone it down with his condescending self absorbed attitude.

I provided a screenshot of your menu and no I NEVER SAID I WANTED CHICKEN IN A VEGETARIAN TORTA, You said yourself that it included lettuce and jalapeños which mine DID NOT. Also Dixy had offered to remake it and everything was fine before your call you just love To ESCALATED AND AGGRAVATE...

America’s Taco Shop catering came through for us in a huge way for our wedding, when our scheduled caterer had staffing issues and was unable to confirm our order only 3 weeks before our wedding. I panicked and called a bunch of places, and Terry at America’s picked up the phone and immediately calmed my nerves. Terry was amazing at coordinating everything, helping me make selections, setting up and explaining the options to our guests. We got tons of compliments on the food and really appreciated how smoothly it all went with only 3 weeks notice. I’ve been eating ATS since college but have an even deeper appreciation now that I know how kind and generous they are, which means the works when you’re a stressed out bride! Can’t recommend them highly enough for catering....

I was in the mood for some street tacos. I saw the Yelp recommendation for Americas and decided to try it. I did the Yelp check-in and it gave me one free taco. America's Taco Shop would not honor this Yelp check-in coupon. That was very frustrating because I had walked almost a mile from my hotel. I went ahead and ordered 4 tacos they came out quickly. I was shocked at how small the tacos were, the tortillas were the size of a silver dollar I kid you not it was two bites per taco.

This place needs to take a look at Roberto's and Tacos El Gordo to see if they need to reinvent their strategy. To top it off to not accept a Yelp coupon for $1 size Street taco was absolutely ridiculous.

Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else until they get this...
