Craft 64 exists for two things: pizza and beer, and everything they have is excellent. When I was last there (17 April 2019), they had over two dozen beers on tap, all brewed in Arizona (some of which are not available anywhere else), and it looked like there was eight of their own making. It looked to me like they probably have every type of beer most people would want, and few that some might never have tried. If you have questions, it's entirely possible that their brewmaster will be there, as he was when I was there on that Wednesday evening. Beer is a passion for these guys. You probably have never had truly great pizza before, but that's all that you will find here. However, if you're expecting the same offerings as at Pizza Hut, you'll be confused. These pies are anything but ordinary. I ordered the Fico (pictured), which is an inspired mix of mozzarella, parmigiano reggiano, ricotta, arugula, truffle oil and fig sauce on a thin, crisp crust. It's a bit on the sweet side, and heavenly! This was my third visit, and I have never been anything but delighted by what I have ordered. Service is routinely friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and prompt. It isn't always clear who your actual server is because they seemingly serve as a team. You can get whatever you want, from just about anyone, faster than you might expect. The owner-managers are often in attendance, and are happy to answer questions and share their knowledge. I live about 20 miles from Craft 64, and it is always worth the drive. Parking in the area is challenging, but once you're inside, you'll do nothing but enjoy.

If you're craving a cozy Italian escape without leaving Scottsdale, Craft 64 is where it’s at. Nestled in a charming, welcoming space that feels part wine bar, part neighborhood kitchen, this spot is perfect for laid-back lunches with bold flavors. From the jump, our experience was made even better by Daniel—our attentive and easygoing server who made sure everything hit the mark. He kept the vibe fun and the table full. We kicked things off with the mozzarella and tomato starter—a fresh, vibrant Caprese-style dish with thick-sliced tomato, creamy mozzarella, and a dusting of basil. Paired with hearty toasted bread, it had all the flair of bruschetta but with a richer, cleaner finish. Then came the homemade meatballs, bathed in a rustic marinara and melted cheese. These were fork-tender and seasoned just right—Italian comfort food at its best. And let’s not forget the Italian sausage, which brought a bold, smoky depth to the table. The grand finale? A pepperoni pizza that deserves a standing ovation. Wood-fired perfection with those beautifully charred bubbles along the crust, generous slices of pepperoni, and that golden cheese melt you dream about. Each bite was a flavor bomb—crispy, chewy, spicy, savory. From start to finish, Craft 64 nailed it. It's one of those rare spots where the food, atmosphere, and service all align into something memorable. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is a must-visit for lovers of Italian food, craft pizza, and good vibes. A fine lunch had by all, indeed.

Craft 64 offers a great Old Town Scottsdale dining experience with locally brewed beers and quality pizzas in a welcoming environment. The combination of refreshing craft beverages, well-executed pizza offerings, and versatile seating options makes this spot a worthwhile addition to your dining rotation. The pepperoni pizza strikes an excellent balance with the perfect ratio of pepperoni to mozzarella. Each slice delivers consistent flavor throughout, showcasing the kitchen's attention to proper ingredient distribution and quality components. The crust came out more on the crispy side which I appreciate. Calibrate your order accordingly though! While I've only sampled a portion of their menu so far, the variety appears impressive enough to warrant return visits to explore more of their offerings. On the beverage front, the Rocky Point Blonde stands out as particularly refreshing. As someone who appreciates locally brewed beers, I found this selection to be a perfect complement to the pizza, offering a clean, crisp flavor profile. They have both indoor and outdoor seating options, creating flexibility for different weather conditions and dining preferences. It's worth noting that as summer approaches, the outdoor seating may become less comfortable due to rising temperatures, something to consider when planning your visit since I don't recall seeing misters of any sort. Should you choose to dine at Craft 64, I hope you enjoy the experience as much as I did!

The best word to describe our experience was Chaos. We had a few people recommend this place and unfortunately did not meet any of our expectations. From the minute we entered the establishment and met the hostess, you could see how disorganized they were. After dealing with the hostess who was not the friendliest, we were met by a server who you could two had too much to handle on his own, he seemed like a hard worker but didn’t have time to do his job properly. We ordered our food, I asked for two samples of some beers and he brought the wrong ones, not a problem I’m not overly picky with beers so I drank one of the others. Ordered our food, which was ok, there was nothing special about their pizza, it wasn’t necessarily bad - it just wasn’t anything worth paying their price or putting up with the service. We were a table of three and only got 2 plate and utensils settings when the food came out, we asked for an additional setting and took a while to arrive. We ordered the meatballs, they were bland, dry and honestly would not recommend them at all. Their “focaccia” was pretty much toast bread again lacked much refinement and flavour. We asked for additional drinks that were never received which was not a surprise. The entire time we were there, the servers and kitchen service was dropping plates (multiple seem to have broken in the little time we were there), things thrown , the space not very well cleaned and organized. Doesn’t create an environment where you feel like you want to spend time in. After we asked for the bill, the server took 15 minutes to bring me the cheque and also noticed they already include “card” fees on your bill to incentivize you to pay cash. My family and I did not enjoy our experience here and would not at all recommend this location based on our experience of service alone, and the food...

A Haven for Pizza and Beer Enthusiasts!

Craft 64 is a hidden gem for those who appreciate the artistry of wood-fired pizzas and craft beers.

During our visit, the staff exhibited exceptional service – attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and their extensive craft beer offerings.

We ended up trying a trio of pizzas – the classic pepperoni, the tantalizingly sweet and spicy Honey Bee, and the timeless Margherita. Each pizza boasted a light and crisp crust from the wood-fired oven, enhancing the flavors to perfection. A special they had on offer was the homemade spinach and artichoke dip, a delightful appetizer.

The cozy ambiance, reminiscent of an old renovated house, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The only downside here is you have to go outside if you need to use the restroom, which I can imagine in the dead of summer could be tough.

What sets Craft 64 apart is their impressive selection of craft beers, many of which are local and unique. The staff took pride in helping us navigate their vast beer menu, showcasing their commitment to providing diverse and flavorful options. We particularly enjoyed their own house-brewed IPAs, each sip a testament to their expertise in the craft.

Craft 64's accommodation of our large party of 7 was seamless. They pushed tables together, ensuring everyone had ample space to enjoy our meal comfortably.

In summary, Craft 64 is a paradise for pizza and beer connoisseurs. Whether you're savoring their delectable wood-fired creations or exploring their extensive selection of craft beers, this restaurant stands out as a culinary delight. The perfect blend of exceptional food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes Craft 64 a must-visit destination for any food...
