Saturday evening 3/6/2021 I place an online order and was told to go pick my food up at the Scottsdale location 3014 N Scottsdale Rd. I went through the drive-thru and gave the cashier my name he asked if I said my name was “Jacob” I stated no it’s Shandrika McDowell, he responded that “oh we don’t have an order for you to check the other Wendy’s. I went to the other location and was advised that 3014 N Scottsdale is where my my food is. I went back to the first location and showed the cashier my order as well as my bank account to show him that the funds had been debited from my account in the amount of $27.44. The cashier was very rude and condescending stating that “I’m sorry but I don’t have anything for you.” I asked for a manger and was told to wait he’ll go and he here. I waited outside for more than 10 minutes as the doors was locked. I then called the restaurant and asked to speak with a manager, the phone was handed to the manager, however, due to a very bad connection I was unable to here her clearly. I asked if she would just please come outside to have the issue resolved, after waiting another 10 to 15 minutes she never came out. I called the police and was told by the officer to just call my bank and file a claim.
This will be my last time purchasing any food from this location as the cashier and manager was very rude. The customer service I received was horrible not to mention that the manager didn’t even attempt to rectify the situation instead she ignored me. There was a white woman whom was standing outside as well she was there to pickup a DoorDash order. Read moreI decided to read the reviews and the amount of dissatisfaction is alarming. My personal dissatisfaction has been in the undercooked french fries. They come out virtually mushy, not firm enough to scoop the Frosty from. Burger King down the road has consistently better fries, but I don't want to go to separate locations so I sometimes have to deal with crap fries or no Frosty. Wendy's even advertised improved fries, but there was no change. It's certainly a possibility that the individual restaurant has failed to comply with corporate instructions, but it doesn't matter, if the product is deficient when we customers receive it. Until I read the plethora of bad reviews, I was seriously planning on a visit to the drive thru. I want a Caesar salad, but now I can't trust it to be a fair purchase. November 2024 just a couple days after Veterans Day. I decided to have the chicken wrap and a Caesar salad. Now I have to contact the restaurant management and see if I can get some satisfaction. The wraps are supposed to have dressing, but it only became evident in the last inch at the end. The Caesar salad was excellent, but the dressing is an issue again. A pouch was supplied in the bag, but it is inadequate in amount for the size of the salad. Two pouches would be sufficient. I'm going to ask for a free chicken wrap with correct dressing and I'm going to try to buy another Caesar salad with two pouches, depending on how much they might charge for adequate dressing. Read moreThe atmosphere was ok and the wedges I ordered were extremely hot and fresh, but the drive-thru window girl was extremely rude and she acted like she didn't care about my expectations of my order. On the loud speaker, I told her I wanted 2 large potato wedges and a large natural lemonade without ice, but as soon as I got to the pickup windows, she gave me 1 large potato wedges and only filled my cup of lemonade halfway. Theoretically, she just had an attitude towards me like I was causing problems and I called her out for it. She made me feel really uncomfortable and I have reported her for it. I really hope she just gets in trouble for belittling me in the process and I've done nothing to even initiate this whole ordeal. Eventually, I got everything I wanted, but I am just too old for little drama and I am tired of people gaslighting me over stupid stuff. Maybe I should just advise people not to even visit this Wendy's restaurant because y'all may have the same kind of experience as I've had.
