Manager was beyond rude. He acted like he was a police officer, definitely has a Napoleon complex. He was trying to control the lighting and sound system even though it was super bowl, kept turning it way down until people started yelling in complaints. He was also standing by the walkway entrance on the sidewalk and policing people coming in and out. Not to mention their waiting list method was a joke, we walked up and two young ladies were at the podium, definitely overwhelmed and that I understand because it was busy of course, unfortunately their method was writing a description of the person only like (big guy in jean shirt) (being my husband) but no name no # nothing... Needless to say people were skipped, forgotten, and lots left. We were patient and waited for over two hours and yes we did that because we understood it was Super bowl and hence par for the course. So with that I had plenty of time to observe, and the manager was discriminatory with certain people. I am appalled, we definitely got bypassed and forgotten a few times.. Thank goodness that when we finally got sat we actually got an awesome server Blair, she definitely made up for it, by then their food was not what it normally is, and yes I visit many Zipps,my son had his graduation party in the one. Anyway, I ordered a Zipps crispy chicken sandwich, unfortunately it came out like a spicy chicken from McDonald's, that small and nothing on it.. I understand that by then the kitchen is probably over it,but regardless they weren't closing or anything so there's no excuse. My son and husband were of course starving so they ordered a plethora of apps and food everything was cold, we never got silverware and I mean never except a fork, forget refills on pop, it get any dressing for your food or wings... They were definitely trying to be on their alcohol sales,of course that's serious revenue, but come on at least bring some dipping sauce for your food, especially when you ask what kind you would like. It was annoying. I know it's just bar food and it's a very busy day, but with that said I believe they could have better prepared for the occasion. Kind of...
Read moreI had the most disgusting experience here last weekend. Came in for dinner with my husband and one year old. The restaurant and bathrooms were filthy, however it was 8:00 pm and we were all starving. We sat down and immediately ordered my babies food, then a few minutes later after looking at the menu ordered ours. Ours came out before the children's' menu food, and we didn't receive his until we asked the server where it was. All three meals were not edible. The chicken tenders tasted and looked raw and unseasoned The club sandwich bread was so stale that my husband could not bite through it, and my burger had disgusting pieces and parts of food that I couldn't even distinguish even after going back to look at the menu to try and figure out what it was. After calling the manager back and complaining about my sons raw chicken tenders in effort to at least get him something to eat- I was told that "chicken tenders are chicken tenders and if we remake them they will taste the exact same". After trying to eat a couple bites of our food we gave up and told the server that we could not eat the food, and we were going to leave. The manager told us it was not his problem that we didn't like the food, and that there was nothing wrong with it. He then got in our face, argued and yelled at us about paying a bill for food that we were not even willing/ able to eat. He then followed us out of the restaurant yelling and harassing us threatening to call the police. I tipped the server and told him we would wait outside for the police. After 10 minutes of sitting outside waiting, he came back out and told us to "get out of here". I was totally disgusted with the food AND manager of this restaurant and will 100% never return. I also plan on telling everyone I know about how terrible this place is. What a terrifying experience and despicable manager. This place should...

My large party of 9 arrived and we were seated quickly. Moments later and without even sitting down we were told by the short bald Manager someone in our group could NOT BE SERVED! We asked a few questions for clarity on the Manager's request and he insisted and we decided to leave. We were not going to dine there without a member of our party we came with. While walking out, the same short bald Manager and now other staff were making horrible discriminatory comments to us and made sure to say "he has black staff" as if this is to excuse his behavior and makes this treatment towards us acceptable. Regardless we left calmly but naturally upset as we did not expect to be told we could not be served. While deciding where to go next and in the parking lot, the short bald Manager called the cops and a tall muscular Security bouncer pushed a woman (in our party) more than half his weight and stature almost to the ground and told the cops she pushed him. Excuse me?? This business is poorly managed, incites violence towards women and those of color, lacks the basics of integral customer service. These actions were done not only in front of other staff but also the what appeared to be non-black and brown customers. Apparently this location is under NEW MANAGEMENT but training in community belonging, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, hospitality and customer service was completely ignored, not included, not implemented for new hires, mandatory and continuous testing on established staff, or discussed for retention of understanding and reinforced. The Manager and Security bouncer will be a lawsuit waiting to happen for this business!!! If you don't like your job or people collectively and cannot treat everyone equally without bias, Get Out of the business you're in!!! This is...
